Earlier today I was reading about a psychology experiment. It had to do with naming the dwarves from Snow White & the Seven Dwarves.
This led me to think....
I think a goofy guild theme would be Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. You could have Snow White in there I guess... but the fun part would be naming the Dwarves. You could have the regular ones like Sleepy, Dopey, and Happy. But the fun part would be thinking up new Dwarf names. Like Sexy, Slappy, Sleazy, Scurvy, Shoddy, Stingy, Dumpy, Stinky, Funky and so on.
Roleplaying "Slappy" kept me laughing for awhile.
Any other ideas on a themed guild?

I've read about several guilds on the official boards that are planning on role playing a single race guild. One in particular that I remember involved a guild of nothing but Dark Elves complete with a naming guide for such. EQ2 makes it easy to do such since any race can be any class. I can't think of any themes off hand but it will be interesting to see what happens after release.

You could have a Gnome only guild and call it "The Lollipop Guild"! Or call the guild "Oompa Loompa"!

Now here is where an imagination can frolic (really..I dont frolic.....well, anymore)
First time in the Feerot, Saw good 'ole Bupp. Just east of him were 2 Ogre hotty's with bones in their hair. First thing I thought of was "The Flinstones" I guess one could make an Ogre Guild a called "The Flinstones"

Gnomes are the best! I'll never forget my gnome only guild on Karana on EQlive with my friends, The Gnomish Activists =)

Both Swarm and I were on Karana before the split off to Ayonae Ro. I was in 3 different guilds over that time: Light of Norrath, Kinship of Valor, and Allied Giants!!!

Anyway ... themes can be iinteresting ... I know of an Iksar Only guild ...
There could be class only guilds too ... but they'd be no fun while raiding.
Guilds based around a specific trait ... like black hair or something ... or something a little more wider and idea like ... support of your city ... or preserving the elephants or something ... *shrug*
