just was curous what new things would you like to have in the battle system
personnaly i would like to have wepons to clash with each other like say yuo are fighting a enemy with a sword instead of hacking at each other make it so that sometime the swords will clash together and make a clashing sound. That would make the game much more relistic

Interesting idea, though it's not implemented in EQ 2 as far as I know.

As far as new things in battle, not sure. I dont know enough about the present battle Graphics or combat. I do like how the weapons look when not held, strung across your back.

This is sort of a combat oriented thing. I would like rangers to be mainly using bows in combat. They are the best at them, so they should do way more damage with them then with swords or what not.

i agree in EQlive you never saw a bow as a main wepon even on a ranger. Everyone used it for pulling only.

Well when the AAs came into play and the Rangers could master AA in archery, the bow became the weapon of choice for the rangers.

Aye, when rangers got Trueshot, bows became a lot more prevelent in the game. The first time I saw a ranger hit for 1000+ it sent a tingle down my spine. Then I got jealous and wished my warrior could do just half that amount of damage with one hit. heheh
As far as new things in the battle scheme for EQ2... I'm eager to get a feel or at least a better understanding as to how the combat wheel is working as well as heroic opportunities. The promise of more interactive combat has me a bit giddy.
