The powers they have now are nice but how about some more. Like a multiplition power pool set. If you can think of more post it

Multiplication? Isnt that like MM they kinda multiply. I think they could add a water base power. U got fire,elec,ice,dark,energy,plant,earth,and wind but no water.

A good power could be um.....hmmm.....Something like being able to use your victum's powers. U would be able to do a Rouge type thing on your enemies. these guys could solo or take the roll of a missing componet in a team. Maybe your final main power would be able to suck the power out of everything near u and release it in a big boom or something like a Nova but double damage. I guess this could fall under an epic arch type like pb/ws. I think it would be unique to play.

Not so sure this would be that far out of the realm. Doesn't this happen anyways? I know I've seen it and it's not even part of the game...lol.

I think i'm liking the water based power type. Starting set could look something like: Squirt, Splash, Gusher, Tidal Wave, Sea Spray (AoE/DoT), Sprinkler (AoE/DoT), Water Glass (hold/mez), Typhoon, Hurricane (but only wet). See, here are all 9 powers in the set. Oh, feel free to gimp one or two as all sets seem to have a useless power in them, lol.

you could put in the
debuff: Leak, as there fluids leak out and they weaken.
Saturate: the bloat with water and slow wayyyy down
whirlpool: they become dishwashers.... i mean... a vortex kinda like black hole sucking foes into a centralized location.
absence of water works too... desicate: weakened dried out foes.
Flash Flood: aoe or PBAOE that slows everyone down and pushes them away

Color it being i do not have the slightist clue. How about a spectrum type of colors not a rainbow of colors but it should look like your on E or Mary jane.
Or how about a gun slinger type power like Dante of of devil may cry? i think that would be fun and maybe it would fit into a type of blaster catagory. Maybe your final could be i dont know doing a type of matrix move where everything is slowed down and u fire rapidly and causing tons of damage everywhere.

I'd like to see a blade slinger powerset. It could be similar to the archery set, only no bow. First a single quick blade, aimed blade, multi blade, so on and so on. A twin gun fighter would be cool too.

I would like to see more weapons in City of Villains. It sucks that the Brutes don't get anything like the Axes or Maces, though they are sooooo slow...

A possession power would be cool, similar to confuse, only you would actually enter their body and control them. Make those suicide Mages that much more interesting to fight.

This last one isn't so much a power wish but something I'd like done to a powerset, or AT really. I would like to see some king od customization to the MM pets so you can decide what they look like everytime, make them male or female and change the color of their clothing. Maybe like a mini-character creation screen.

I think like a Beast Master set would be cool. you could call on different animals to come beat the crap out of your enemy's. I would have to think what the powers would be like though. Or a shape shifter kind of like the kheldians on heroes(probably spelled wrong damn that typing fairy) but for Villains you could change into different creatures to fight your enemys.

that'd be cool. the animation/programming would be tough, although you could do aspects or something... scorpion claws, wolfs head/fangs, armidillo carapace, and the general toon would stay the same. although morphinn g to different aspects would rock. or the beasts master MM would be awesome.

I dont think the blade slinger type thing isnt available since scrappers have katanas. Maybe they could jst make that faster or something.

Shape shifting and beastmaster should be the same class u know. the beast u can call u can turn into.

Possesion i think would a bit dangerous. Wouldnt u be kinda vulnerable while possesing.

I I like the idea of customizing pets. It will be cool. How bout MM being their own type of gang or something similar to a VG/SG but its your VG/SG with your own costumes but no lair that'll be 2 much 2 do. For example the Council is a villian group but u have Car leonis, Penumbras, and Vortex. So u will be part of villian group but have your sort of division.

Personally, I would LOVE to see more metamorphs. We have the Kheldians in City of Heroes, but how about something for CoV? Shapechangers of some sort. The character could morph into a Warwolf or something like that. Heck, the animations are already all there.

In regards to the beastmaster thing, i think that it should be a mm powerset. First pet could be summon dog, second summon bear, or something of the like. What i really think is needed in cov though, is a healing type. Sure, thermal radiation is great and all, but...its nothing compaired to empathy. The copy-power idea when it comes 2 haveing it become a huge super-powered nova seems good, but the power is just screaming "NERF ME NERF ME," and it will not be much fun after that. I have always thought there needed to be a water set, but i think one thinng that needs 2 be added to the lists that people have above is a movement. Surf, like super speed. I also think there needs to be more scrapper sets added to the primaries for brutes. I also think that the last power in a stalker set should be changed to a form of super assasins strike.

Isnt poison a healing pool? I think that the beastmaster would fall into brutes or stalkers?. A MM becoming a Grizzly doesnt seem right. I think that the animal or creature u turn into should resist a type of power. For example, If u turn into a Bear u should resist lethal damage, wolf negative energy, holds,and get a type of stalker thing, lets say a cat thingy should have resistance to critical hits and should have an fear effect.Similar to how when a kheladian trasforms it get new attacks. the possibilities r endless.

This is something i want though. How about the controllers/dominators hold attacks more aggresive. I know adding the double dmg thing is great but how about give them some actual attacks while they prey is held down. I am not saying that they should be on the scale of damage dealing as a blaster/corrupter but be able 2 deal some extra damage instead of having their teamates clean up. i think this cause some nerfing in the future if this were to happen.

We're villains, we dont heal people. We focus on killing them before they kill us. Survival of the fittest.
On another note, it would be sweet to be able to align with a faction after awhile and have pets like them: COT hordelings and archers, 5th Column Bots and soldiers, etc. When COV was first teased about last year, I thought it was gonna be much more faction based. You'd build your rep with a particular villains group and become one of their folks, opening up new costume stuff etc.

Calling a dog,or bear is cool i love the werewolf wistle u get in CoH on Stringa Island as a temp power or the shivan from bloody bay. I guess it works out then.

A villian with empathy doesnt seem right. We r killers,cons,theives,extortionist, everything that is wrong with the world. The last thing we r thinkning of is healing others. If their was a empathy i think it should have the same powers but use its healing from opponents similar to the Dark Miasma pool but more healings and buffs.

I thought u would be working with Arachnos. When i did the Wretched story Ghost Widow was outlined in orange instead of blue like an ally. I think it is cool though being a rouge villian. Ijust thought it was weird with Arachnos taking time out to make a prison break and us not helping him later in our "career" instead we r stealing from them or killing opratives.

Remember Recluse wants survival of the fittest. By killing his own men, it proves that they aren't fit. Sure it sets him back a bit, but he wants you to prove your able to do whatever you have to get ahead. Heck, even his own people fight amongst themselves. Far as I've learned, Mako's out to get everyone and no one seems to like Black Scorpion all that much.

Far as Empathy goes, I don't think it would work either. In my opinion, the ultimate heal is Dark Miasma, if you can get it to hit.

A beast MM would be great, though the animation would have to be new. I haven't seen to many animal mobs in the game (aside from the man-inmals), but if they were able to get actual wolf moves in the game, they could add stray dogs running around Port and Mercy.

Another MM me and my buddy came up with was a monster MM. Use classic monsters like werewolves, frankenstien, vampires, mummies...stuff like that.

I would have like to've seen the factions thing too, ingratiating yourself with one group while pissing off another. Give it a bit more depth and replayability as you'd wanna see what life would be like siding with the Circle of Thorns instead of Crey. Maybe even make it Origin specific too. (Can't see the CoT being to comfy with a tech or science villain in their midst)

Now, the Beast Master powerset for MasterMinds is a set I can really get behind. Honestly, the next group or set for MM's is going to be Thugs?!? For the love of pete, what are the Mercs then? Ok, sure, they are military Thugs; what's the difference. I'm ex-military; Mercs are Thugs, there is no difference. There, I've had my say. I've wanted to shout that from the rooftops since I first heard of the Thugs-set.

Again, a Beast powerset would be unique, and interesting. I liked that monsters idea too, but the problem with it is that we already have the Council (vamps & wolves), Vahzilok (Frankensteins), and our own Necro MM's (zombies/mummies). Still ot might be cool.

If we are gonna get another powerset for MM's, I would also vote for good ol' demons. Maybe smaller copies of the CoT demons.

I like the monsters and demons idea's, classic. I am also really really worried about the thug/merc thing, them being too similar and all. There does need to be some more secondaries to, who knows, may b they could add storm summoning. My hero is a level 39 storm def, so im a little partial.

Just another thought. With the possession powerset, that could introduce the Epic AT's for CoV. I mean what are the Kheldians in CoH? Sure, they are "good" possessors (a good nictus? yeah, right), but the Warshades are bad aliens gone good, right? Paying for their past misdeeds. Well, let's have them continue their misdeeds. The only area that the Possessor would be problematic would be in PvP. BUT how about this. In PvE, the Possessor would directly enter the body of an enemy, and take over the powers of his host. Talk about being a quick study if you want to survive. In PvP, the Possessor would lock down the enemy (let's make the mez/hold badges a little easier to get, now) and would appear as a copy down to the powers and slotting of his enemy. Even if the enemy breaks free, he is now fighting a copy of himself. How about that. I've even got a good villain name for the AT....The Doppelganger. That would take care of the "Rogue"-style powerset from way back in the beginning of this thread. Hmmmm, I gotta work on this idea. Although, I got to wonder if it's already been thought of on the Player Suggestions on the OB's. Oh well, great minds. And now, I know what the rest of my day is going to be like.

I dont really like the classic monster idea. Frankenstein is a sort of zombie which we have from Necromancers. Dracula similar to lich also from Necromancers and mummies another word that can mean zombie again Necromancers. I also think that dumb movie Van Helsing killed the classic monsters 4 me.

I like the daemon idea or the ghost from croatoa and spectral ship. Ever since i got soul extraction i love the ghosts. I think the daemons would be great as well so many times i have wanted to get control of one of them.

How about being an actual Nictus before they turn all goody goody.

I hate the thug MM set. It has no purpose. We already have mercs which have lethal damage. I think the thugs would work if they were like outcasts. That would rock have pets that can freeze, burn, electricute, and crush your victims. if they were going 2 use Mercs maybe they will change them around like they will use gadgets or be like assasins or rouge agents.

Although therms dont heal quite as well as emps, they have sheilds which hopefully help reduce the amount they need to do. As far as my experience I think the therms do pretty well in healing. My main therm is now 33 and with heal, recharge and end red in heals keeps up pretty well. Only thing i miss is RA (endurance)

An idea I had for another Master Mind option is Mythical Creatures. For example trolls, goblins, or gremlins for the lowest class, then Orcs, Minotaurs, or Centaurs for the middle class and a Dragon, Cyclops, or Giant for the highest class. You also use the Greek or Roman gods and goddesses as your minions for anthor option.
