I've read ALOT of things on here about C3, but i'm interested to see what you guys think about the races in C4. I'm already going to start off as a Scavenger (see my post in the Dwarves section), but i'm wondering if theyre's a huge gap in favor of one character over the others?
At the very least, which seems to be the strongest magic user? That's what I would want my second char to be. (Months away lol)

Another good topic man...
Well for those of you who don't know the strongest PVP characters in C3 are:
Orc Mystic = Overlord
Human Mystic = Necromancer
Elven Mystic = Spellsinger
I think every expirienced player would tell you this...
Now I haven't played C4 but I have heard rumours that Spellsingers are going to be a bit worse than in C3...
I also heard that Necromancers and Overlords are getting better...
And I heard that archers are also getting better, with even more powerful powers coming to them...
And I have heard rumours that daggers are coming back to life... just like they dominated in C2 I heard that they are coming back to life, maybe not as good in C2 when they didnt miss once, but are going to be better than they currently are in C3...

After some research I can confirm that:
Archers are getting boosted, mages are also getting boosted, and warcryers are getting a very usefull buff which can arguable be the best buff in the whole of C4,
On the other hand daggers are i think becoming a bit worse than they are now, the critical damage that they deal will be less when C4 comes and the hit rate will stay about the same...
So all in all mages will still rule Lineage 2 when it comes to PVP...
About that warcryer buff, its called chant of victory...
Basically it increases every stat that you have including hp and mp, and even you cp bar i think...
It doesnt just increase it by a bit but it increases by a substantional amount... so expect to see an increase in the warcryer class...

Definitely HE. But he's gotta have top Draconic Bow with SA, and full S-Grade Armor, and especially Special Raid Boss dropped S Grade Jewelry. Only way this can be funded, is no doubt purchasing adena from mmofactory.com . But if you want your character to pwn, the HE's damage will pwn all other classes so fast, and with the special S-Grade jewelry, he can't be slept. It's instant death for all classes.
