I'm impressed with quite a few of the entries in this contest and thought it'd be nice to start a thread discussing which ones we like best, and why.
This is a 'free' thread where you can basically put whatever you want, as long as it's relevant.
I think it's important to say why you like a particular entry, or why you don't if you feel the need to comment on that: it could be a deciding factor I guess if someone has a good reason for not liking an entry that is otherwise a potential winner.
The only stipulation I would make is that your comments must be balanced and devoid of insult, but hopefully I'm just stating the totally obvious there :P
Okay, here are my favourites so far. Of course some could quite easily be in two, or possibly more, categories, but if I understand it right then a pic. can only win in one category, and a person can only win once, so I've managed to stick to that (though it was hard ^^ )
Graphical Quality 3rd: Wolfblade's 'Droknar's Deluxe'. I think this is excellent but the tank's a tad bit big :p
2nd: evo_nc's 'Pepto-Bismol'. The shadow's made it for me :)
1st: Jonnyo's 'Internet Cafe'. Just brilliant.
Originality 3rd: Wiccanflame's 'Archer'. A GW character in a really 'normal' setting. Tickled me. hehe
2nd: Fevers and Mirrors' 'Red Bull. I had a hard time with this, but the chair let it down a tad :o
1st: Tribina's 'IWAY ant'. The ones taken from a normal idea/pic. have a head start IMO. I just love this one.
People's Choice Well, that's what this thread is for ;)
And.. a category I'd like to see:
Funniest 3rd: Drksk8er's 'Budweiser'
2nd: Comfort Eagle's 'Gwen at Wall Mart'
1st: GoddessAlthena's 'Resident Evil'
I also loved:
Jonnyo's 'Bus' ('Internet Cafe' is just better)
Seventy-Seven's 'Tyrian Minotaur Preserve (I'd have to do some juggling if the spelling was corrected :o )
Wolfblade's 'Sprint' ('Drok's Deluxe is even better though)
oli_haydon's 'Taichi'
evo_nc's 'Dumber'

My current personal favorite for Photoshop Quality is TarisDale's entry even though the face of the girl on the left looks a bit off. I was really impressed with the way he superimposed GW armor over real people in poses not part of the Guild Wars emote system.
Hey, I know my post was long but c'mon, shout about those that you think are great. Many are so worth it :)
I noticed a comment removed on one entry, but kudos to whoever took it off, especially since it nicely makes room for Immunis' 'Palace Guard' entry which is now my favourite 'funniest' *wonders if anyone will understand that comment*

is it too self-centered to say that my favorite is my "Budweiser" submission? everyone who commented seemed to love it, and i thought it was pretty original. one person who commented even works for Aneuser-Busch and they were ROFL. :P

oh...sorry. ok, well then i guess i'd have to go with: "The Joy of Painting" by angry_dutch. i thought it was very well blended and fits perfectly into the "vs RL" area.

I agree completely with honnaja! The Griffon Farmer DEFINETLY deserves to win the funniest catagory. For orginatly it HAS to be the IWAY ant, with out a doubt.
