WoW Collectors Addition

well...it looks like the have decided on what you are going to get with the WoW collectores adition. It looks like it should be good. and it looks like it will be $80 or so. check it out at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/

I'll probably get it. I agree that it looks to have some goodies in it that might be worth picking up. I'm surprised they decided that the personal pet would be the in-game freebie. I was hoping for a shirt or a hat. Now everyone will be running around with the Collectors Edition Mechanical Squirrel or some such.

normally i dont pay for collector's edition items because I think they're just there to earn a buck, but I may actually appreciate the stuff included in this one.

I'm getting me some Collector's Edition lovin' That thing is cramed full of goodies... As long as it's not $120 or something rediculous I'm definitely picking up a copy...

If I were in beta and I could get a taste of wether or not I'd like this game, I'd get the CE. I just plopped down $100 for Half-Life 2 Gold via steam, why not Warcraft? I love Billzard, mmo's are just one of those things I have to try before I buy a CE.

What does the exclusive in-game pet mean??

I have been wondering what exactly an exclusive in-game pet means...and do you get one for each character or just one character. I can't find anything on the offical WOW Forums. Does anyone know?

I just pre-ordered my collector's edition for... 86 bucks (because of tax). After $58 for Doom 3 on release day, and now HL2 with extra expenses, games are definatly gettin more expensive

Hey don't feel bad. With my wife being a game-geek too I often have to buy them in duplicate. Every time a cool game comes out I have twice the drain on the wallet that you do hehe.

I am thinking EB Games needs to have a "frequent buyers club." You know...for every seven games you purchase the eigth one is free or something.

I wonder if the in-game pet will NOT be random but instead vary depending on where you pre-order it from. I remember with Horizons and City of Heroes the in-game goodie you got was dependent on where you pre-ordered from. Similar item but unique to EB Games, Game Stop, Best Buy etc.

I buyed 3 of them, one for me, one for my bro, and one for my dad(gave him for his birth-day)!!!
