So I started playing for the first time tonight. It only took about and hour before I was attacked by another character for the first time. I didn't really mind, cause it's new to me, being able to openly attack other characters and kind of interesting.
Anyway, my queston is this...When he actually hit me, my HP didn't budge, but the yellow bar above my HP, I think it was CP, went down. What is that all about and how does this PvP thing work?
Just so you know, I was already running for the town when I was attacked, so I just kept going and ignored him. He couldn't seem to get a good hit on me. Out of 3 tries I think he hit me once, then gave up and ran for town too. I guess then my other question is what happens when someone actually PK's you?

Cp = Combat points. When your fighting another player (PvP) these will go down before you start to loose hit points. They arent affected by fighting mobs (PvE).

Generally when you get PK'ed its by someone WAY higher than you and they do it in one hit.
Sounds like he was trying to get you to flag, when you attack back your name turns purple, when you kill someone who is purple it doesnt count as a PK its concidered PvP.
