Ok, I don't care how long time bomb takes to go off or recharge, I'm getting it along with trip mine because I want to be a sneaky bomber with my fire/devices blaster.
Basically, he's all about AOEs with fire ball, rain of fire, and now fire breath. He's getting a the nuke like I said the 2 bomb types.
Here's what I'm wondering: In the old days, people could sneak into a group of baddies, lay a bomb, and get out without being noticed. Has that changed?
I have cloak, and super speed. If I get smoke grenade, can I do this? I don't care about how maybe another power might be better or anything like that... I just love being sneaky and I want to have fun with bombs!

Oh, one other thing... is it actually possible to do this sneaky bomb move WITHOUT smoke gremade? That woudl be great....

With cloak and Super Speed you wont need to use your gernades to get in there without being noticed.

I know I can get in there without being noticed... but can I set a bomb without being noticed? I mean, when it starts the animation of setting the bomb... will that set them off? Thanks...

No prob I just have not been looking at the site for a bit. With cloak and Super Speed you can get in unseen and also set your bombs without fear the only thing that will set the enemy off is an attack, namely if you setup a trip mine in the middle of the mob, but setting up a time bomb in the mob and then getting the hell out of dodge you will be fine. A good tactic would be to setup a few trip mines in a good ambush spot, go setup a time bomb in the middle of the mob then run back behind your trip mines and setup some caltrops to slow the progress through yout mines and also let you pick off any enemies that manage to make it through. And if I remeber right you need to be within something like SK distance for your trip mines to blow up but the time bomb does not matter on distance.
The main thing to remeber here is that I have never managed to use devices at a high level with an of my blasters but what I just said up above is from watching how other device blasters work. And on the stealth thing I know this part very well as my main toon used to have Clock of shadows and superspeed and was never seen unless I wanted to be or I strayed to close to a rikti drone.
