I was having a look at some of the news on one of my favorite comic book related sites (Dynamic Forces), and one of the stories mentioned Spider-man 3. The source states that Spidey supposedly wears black and white in the third flick. I've included a link to the photo, but I'm not confident that the story is correct. It just looks like a black and white pic to me. However, DF is normally very reliable when it comes to this kind of information. I hope you guys enjoy.

Everyone is speculating that he gets the Symbiote outfit in the 3rd movie, that's why he's wearing the black and white outfit. To me the picture looks just like a black and white photo and nothing else. Other's have speculated that you can see Venom in his eye, because in the first 2 you could see the bad guy in his eyes in the posters before. I don't see Venom at all in his eyes. But to think if Spiderman does get the Symbiote suit, oh bonza I'm jacked to see Spiderman 3.

That looks more like Spider Man's Venom outfit than Brock's to me. As I remember it, while Venom covered up Spider Man's spider suit and immitated it's appearance, Brock didn't have one and Venom just covered his street clothes. Also, as Brock's symbiant, he had a big mouth full of pointy teeth.

Neither do I. I'm just going my my overall impression of the picture. I'm not even sure what "venom in his eyes" looks like. Those look like the dark lenses they put in his regular spidey mask for the first 2 movies.

Yeah...It's normally more than speculation if DF puts it on the site. They gather reports from other online sources to compile their news, but it's always written specifically for them. Like I said, I'm not sure if this one is concrete because the movie is still in the early stages of production, but, from what I've seen, they haven't been wrong before. I'm really hoping that the third villain is Venom, though. It should be pretty impressive with the type of special effects available.

OK Lord and Red, gonna help you guys see Venom in Spidey's eye, as I can see him as well. Tilt your head a lil left, look into his eye (please, no intimate feelings right now), and you'll see Directly in the middle of Spidey's eye, Venom's eye. In the far right corner of Spidey's eye, you should see Venom's mouth.
Whether this is a lack of sleep or imagination for you guys, I still see Venom. Hope you see him too, guess it just gets me even more hyped for the next movie!
P.S. This is only Venom's head inside of Spidey's eye, not the whole body.

Well its tough to see what that thing in his eye really is. However, I can make out the general shape/image of Venom's face and part of his body. I used Photoshop to zoom a bit, and here's what I got:
If you can't see what I'm talking about, I've colored in what I see as Venom's eyes and mouth. Hopefully from that, you can see where I'm coming from. Forgive my bad skills with the touchpad mouse, its not exactly perfect here:
I see Venom in his eye when I zoom in. How about you?

It also could be the green goblin. Harry found all of his dad's stuff and is ready to take revenge on Spidey. It could be the image of the latest Goblin.
Just a thought.

I can make out the "mouth" that is toothless, but if that's Venom's eye then I'm gonna pissed. His eye looks etrememly small. Christopher Grace is supposedly playing Venom, which greatly disappoints my hopes of a huge, hulks Venom that I've come to love. I was watching Spiderman VS Venom, when Spiderman the animated series did the Venom Saga... that's the Venom I like and love. I've heard in the some new adventures of Spiderman, Venom has been shrunk down and that's what the 3rd Spiderman's Venom is suppose to be based on.
But I can't see why Harry won't become the Hobgoblin after finding his dad's stuff.
One of the comicbook movie franchises is suppose to be coming out with 6 movies, and its one of Marvel's. I think it's either Spiderman or X-men... and from what I've heard about X-men 3, I'm gonna be waiting until that comes out on DVD.

That's the impression I got from Spidey 2 is that Harry Osbourne will follow in his father's footsteps as HobGoblin and Venom will also be in the movie. Maybe hobgoblin and spidey team up against Venom!? Then after Hob and Spidey resume being enemies or maybe they become friends again!?

The other Spidey3 picture posted on that website is of a guy wearing a green and black horizontal striped shirt. Which from what I remember is similar to Sandman's costume.

No sir, not faked. Unless somebody duped Wizard magazine, the villains are Venom (played by Topher Grace) and Sandman (played by Thomas Haden Church). And as far as Topher Grace not being bulky, Venom always appears much bigger than his human counterpart. You would be crazy to think that they won't CGI the heck out of Venom.

Actually, if you want definate proof that the black costume is real, all you have to do is look at the official site from Sony, here.
It opens with the black costume.
As for the villians, Thomas Haden Church has been selected to play Flint Marko, who is The Sandman. This story is also on the official site.
No other 'villians' have been named, but Topher is playing Brock, who eventually becomes Venom, though not necessarily in this film.
Besides, the Batman movies showed that if you put too many villians in a single movie everything gets too squashed together, and becomes crap.
My opinion, H. Osborne will become a goblin, because most of his story's already been told, and F. Marko will be Sandman, with this movie showing his whole story, and E. Brock will have a fairly large part, but won't become Venom until the fourth movie.
Venom is too large an influence on Peter's life in comics to become just a bit player, he needs an entire movie just for himself.

Very true. I expect to see this movie end vaguely happily for Spidey and then segway to Brock becoming Venom, just to make people's mouths water for movie number 4.

I go back to what I continually tell people when we talk about superhero movies. They try to shove an entire comic book life of a villain into one movie. You can't do it. Especially in only an hour and a half. Most of these movies, especially the first one which tells the beginning story, need to be about 2 to 3 hours long. And the arch-villain does not have to die every time.
Fantastic Four, for example, set the whole background up and got everyone ready, then took out Doom in like 2 minutes. Sure, it looks like he is going to be back, but come on. How many times did Spiderman fight Doc Ock? Nope, not in the movie... He is dead.
I love the new X-men movies because Magneto is in all of them as well as other story lines. That is more like the comics. I don't mean them have to be in every one, but there is no need to kill the villain every time. Have them get away and go into hiding for a movie, then bring them back out after that.
I think how they have handled Harry Osborne in the Spiderman movies is great. We are following the change and story but it isn't the whole movie. I hope they do that with Eddie Brock and Venom in this one. Let his hate start to grow and build the story in this one, then boom hit the ground running in the next.

Yeah, sorry, shoulda been more specific...
Batman movies featuring George Clooney and Val Kilmer show that squeezing too many villians in is a bad idea.

Don't worry. Nobody's messing with Batman. I was actually relieved to see that the last Batman movie actually had Batman in it. The Scarecrow was very well done, too. I just wish they hadn't killed off Ras al Gul, taken away his Lazarus Pit and mispronounced his name. Even so, it was better than the way Tim Burton mishandled Batman.
So far, the Spider Man movies are much truer to the characters. I agree, however, that they need to stop killing off their villains. I also agree that too many villains can spoil a movie. It would be great to see a movie in which Spider Man (or any super hero, for that matter) has to take on a dozen different well-known foes in various parts of the story, but only one should be a villain. Spider Man has plenty of less important foes who are only worth a 2-5 minute fight. Instead of a 5-minute montage of him busting ordinary muggers and purse snatchers, let's see him trash Rhino!

Psst, keep this between you and me Ras isn't dead! He is immortal, he even mentioned it in the movie... well not really saying Hey I'm immortal! More like it was a passing comment... But yeah, he's not dead!
Venom needs a movie to himself, he's really too big of a nemesis to Spiderman to share the spotlight with anyone else. Sure show Spiderman take on Rhino with his Venom outfit on, but once Venom and Brock come together... Oh boy it better be awesome.
Psst, also keep this a secret... there's going to be about 5 different villains in the Batman Begins sequel including The Joker himself.

Exactly! One villain for this movie, build up Venom for his own movie, and Rhino is just a punk in a busy day montage.

If I remember correctly, and the Spiderman movies are following the Goblin story line, it should the Green Goblin's son turning into the Hobgoblin and seeking revenge for his father's death. I haven't read the comics for a couple of decades now, so my memory isn't quite as good as it used to be lol
