| Collector's Edition vs. Pre-Order |

After reading through pre-order and Factions release info, there hasn't been much info on the CE of GW:F.
I really want the extra char slot given by the CE...and after checking out about the pre-order I thought I'd stick with buying the CE when it releases. Any thoughts on this, or opinions on what you're gonna buy (if you do)?

I agree with u pretty much, WHen u pre-order do u get like some extra weapons or something? and isnt that the same for the CE lol idk but i would like the CE over the regualer but idk if paying more money is really worth it....

But you can pre-order the CE verison too, and still get the pre-order gift. You just have to find a retailer that is selling the CE version. Just like the first campaign, you could pre-order the regular or the CE, and still get the pre-order gift.

Hmm...I'll look for a retailer pre-ordering the CE over the next week or two.
And yep, there is one extra char slot for the CE buyers. Good way to attract customers, especially those dislikng the 6-instead-of-8-char-slots.
EDIT: Bringing the total char slot number on a bound-account to 7. Thanks all for responding so far!

Your have a suggestion on a retailer that probly will sell it? like which one sold The orginal?

No, the CE version for the first campaign, didn't have an extra slot key. Nothing has been announced for the CE for Factions. It could have an extra key, and it might not. Only time can tell us.

Really, I thought that the CE did have an extra char slot? That's really strange, I heard it somewhere in AMP forums...oh well I look for the info...
And I haven't found a retailer that sells the pre-order yet...(even the regular retail)

having the extra slot is just speculation/rumors. Gaile or anyone else from Anet has affirmed this from what I have read.

I dont see any point in payin extra just for what, a possible extra char slot and some art work. 6 slots is absolutely plenty in my opinion but u r entitled to ur own views.

You can't actaully buy the pre-order until someone sells them on ebay. :P
The pre-order kit is a gift for pre=ordering the game.
