Most emberassing/noobish GW Moment

What is everyones most emberassing moment in the game, it doesnt have to be while in a party either...

Mine was when I first got guild wars and was finishing up the presearing, I had henchmen in my party and thought they were real players and were just in some sort of guild... So I did a few quests afterwards and tried to talk to them, then I kicked them for not talking... I later realized when I noticed themin every town what they were for....

I have no noobish moments. I capped the uber elite super duper skill called Ward Againts Noobness.

One time, at noob camp, I aggroed a mob of baddies in ToPK by accident and got the whole team killed. And then there was this time I accidentally clicked the sell button too many times and sold some good stuff to the merchant. And there was this other time, I accidentally salvaged a bleached shell, And then, one other time...

I thought the henchmans were real players first too. I was happy that they always wanted to join me, every day at every moment, lol

Yeah, that sux. When i first got GW i had like a Silver Dye and Black Dye first day.. I had no clue about what they did, and merchant would only give 2 gold for them so i sold both for 20 gold :/ (I'm not sure if this is a moment of noobiness or just unexperience[Hmm, maybe its the same thing..])

well there was this one time when i launched a trebuchet and blew up my party, another time i agroed a mob and got the party killed, another time i clicked too fast on the "sell" button and sold a black dye or two to the merchant, another time when i tried to cast meteor on a party member who was annoying me...

"One time at noob camp" I didn't know you could map back and forth... so basically I was stuck following the course of the game till someone.. finally opened my eyes :P Then figured out what that button in the upper left corner does.

I lost my first 60K to a Sup Absorption scammer... he switched it with a crappy Sup rune... and tada, 60k for something that costs 1.

After that, I was dumb enough to lose another 100k to a scam. "Selling GW account", lol... I needed one for my gf so fell for it, although relunctant. Told him to send me an e-mail with the key etc.. I was at my gf's at the time so didn't keep any screenies to report him :/

Thats all that I can remember for now...

Did you say Hermes? (The god's Messenger). Just having a good time like the rest of you ;)

After having a cold for a few days we were sitting in the underworld waiting for the right time to move through patrols and could of done this with my eyes shut by now if I didnt sneeze. Wouldnt of mined seeing the shock on their faces when the sneaky tactics guy somehow runs through two of the main groups we didnt want till the others were gone.

Months of tactics work + finally getting the idea through to them + one sneeze at the wrong time = death in 5.1 sec

Just in case this happens again I think I will move the "run" button to "m" :)

This one time when I first got the game, I got a black dye in presear and applied it to some armor. When I bought new armor in Ascolon City I thought about buying some more black dye from the merchant. Then I saw the Price point. I really felt stupid. Oh well, at least it makes for a half way decent story.

I also did something really stupid outside of GW. I played Runescape. Worst game ever!

.. Was dabbling in a little gvg whilst having one or two beverages one night, as one does, and was so excited that "I" was the one who had got the repair kit and fixed the trebuchet.. I happily skipped about as the huge bucket thing fired the big ball thing onto... OUR Guild!
Funny thing is.. no-one seemed to notice.. and I'm sure they weren't drinking, which is a little worrying..

i done millions of noobish stuff like fire the trebushet in a pve and a gvg killing all my teamates both times and when i got a black dye i gave most the money to my guild leader that had posted that he was disbanding the guild to make a new one also when i got a second black dye after killing a monster i saw it right in front of me and then clicked m and telaported and this other time when i thought that real people were the henches and said they sucked at everything and well the list goes on and on like when some guy said he ran sucsessfully every time and didnt run me even after i gave him th money cause he died then i saw him again saying still that he had run every one every time theres also the time i thought that i was with henches and there was a ranger(real person) who looked like the hench and i said she had nice tits as a joke from my friend who told me they wernt rean there lots and lots and lots more.

Oh where to begin ...

One time I tried to form a group in ascalon to fight their way to the Great Northern Wall.

Another time I had low health and tried to cast the Necro spell that sacrifice's 20% of your health to gain health ... I had less than 20% :*(

The first time I used a rune I thought you had to salvage it from your armour before you put on a new one. I ended up salvaging my 15k for a minor rune. /doh

Hmm most embarassing moment I had in GW was when I was trying to figure out why my mic on my headset wasn't working.. I thought maybe I messed a setting or something up with ventrillo.. I kept asking if I needed to mess with a setting or something under windows.. then I look down and see this button that says on/off on the volume control switch for my headset and with it off I could hear just fine... My first headset though. I had to tell the whole guild about it they got a good laugh. Good news bulletstopper, I got my headset to work! lol.

Well well..where to begin....

I was froliking through the forest..I mean Abbadons Mouth for the first time and when we got to the portals i had just gotten back to my comp and saw em and i was like, and i quote, "OMFG TIGHT I WANA GO INSIDE EM!" proceeding to run into three mobs and the reapers, then realizing it and running back to my party and killing us all...

just one of a BILLION!!

and then there was that time i had gotten my first droknars armor and i went to salvedge my old stuff..and salveged the droknars that i had jsut put on... damn BUYERS AND SELLERS!!!

I've done a lot of them, selling dyes for 1g, thinking henches were people (but only for a little while), but I think my stupidest mistake came last night. It's not quite a "noob" mistake, but it was definitely careless, and it feels like the worst one I've made...

So I'm in Droknar's Forge, and after tangling a few times with Mursaat Elementalists, I double-checked to make sure I had the best armor I could at this point in the game (having just gone through Moladune). I noticed that the armor guys were selling Studded Leather armor (ranger) that was the same as my regular leather, except that it also had 15% lightning protection. Not sure how I missed that before, but sweet, I'll do it. So I salvaged my runes off my body and leggings armor, then went to buy the new stuff. That's when I noticed that I had nowhere near enough crafting materials and money for both pieces of armor.

I crafted the leggings, but now my character is running around topless until I can grab another 10 steel ingots, and 1k gold. Shouldn't take long, but geez, I felt stupid. Buy first, salvage later...

i hav 2, both when i first got GW.

First was when i was askin around for a good axe for my warrion and sum1 went i got a good one. I looked at it and said how much, he then replys offer, so i said..how about 5gold? when it was worth about 60k :(

The second one was when i first got dyes, i looked at them and it said there were only worth 1 gold, so i sold about 5 to the merch...>(

I hav had may but my first one was at the Great Northern Wall Mission when it tells u to get bk to the wall so i opened the map and teleported. wat a dumbass!

I was trying out my new W/Mo and gladly shouted "Tank LFG for FoW" even though my only self protecting skill was mending, and when i got to FoW i aggroed a bunch of baddies..

Twice I have sold my -50 offhand to the merchant for 55 gold... Damn sell button and lag! Thats my excuse and Im sticking to it. Had to buy it from peeps for 10K plus TWICE!

Other time I was in Hells' Prepice doing the mission and Im wondering why I have no energy regen and why my Ele was getting pwned so quick, all the while some guy is calling me n00b and all sorts of crap. I was like F*** Y** I've been playing since release day blah blah blah. He kept it up and I was mad, then I died and while waiting for someone to res me I was looking through my inventory. It was then that I realizied I wasnt wearing ANY armor. I had taken it off for a groupie nudie shot in town and for got to put it on. Man I was embarrassed. Defenitley the most embarrassing moment for me. I felt like a n00b.

my most super noobish moment was when i thought that people could follow me outside and i would say stuff like "meet me outside".......................

And also when i thought the game was ending after presear and i thought man that was a gay game.......

i thought i would never see any people anymore after the presear "beacause it said you will not see you friends forever..................

I thought the game was ending when i ascended when i killed my doppleganger i though "YES!" i beat it! but only to be disapoitted later.............
