The following is a bit of information about The Vampyre Order, i hope it is to your liking. If you are not interested at least it has given you some insight as to what our Organization is about. Do not fear for not all urban myths of our kind are true.
My name is (Mistress) Selene Draco of The Vampyre Order and my Captain is Pan Demic. We have a small following in Paragon Virtue at the moment and wish to build the foundation before the release on City of Villains wreaks havoc like the Rikti Invasion once did. We are an all RPing group who focus on SG teaming, socializing and leveling! We uphold what we call our Ancient Core Values; 1. Honor, 2. Integrity and 3. Courage. We must be resiliant with our endeavers, our goal is to unite all Vampire's whether it is through our SG or others (and there are many) to prove to humans and heroes alike that not all our kind are to be presumed evil! SG NAME : O DOJANG (wich translates form Korean as '' the training hall of my own way'')

current member count: 8 (one now inactive)
STATUS : currently semi-active; our members are, for the moment, all from the Guardian server initially, and play there most of the time. We plan to get active somehow in the future but nothing definite has been decided yet. We just started the SG as a fun idea for later play. There is also a vague plan about making a Villain SG related to it's concept and have a continuing conflict between the two... But everything is on hold at the moment.
ADDED NOTE (07-02-08): The thematic opposing Villain Group has been created following the same guidelines as for this SG. It has a base currently with only a salvage bin and only the leader (P.R. Laquan) and 3 members at the moment.The variant concept differs only in that the character created ressembles someone you despise (although the leader I made is a combination of 3 despicable people I know). All other requirements (name, powers etc) remains the same. Such a concept should be a good catharsis to some LOL
RECRUITING: we are closed at the moment, due to our semi-active status. if enough players manifest a desire to join us and make this SG more active, we would then have a more compelling motivation to immediately open ourselves to new members and involve ourselves more often. If our concept appeals to you, contact the leader by in game e-mail, or with a tell if he happens to be there when you log in. See our SG portrait below for our rather long list of requirements.
BASE: A very small base with all the basic rooms; salvage and invention salvage storage bin, invention worktable and both tech and magic empowerment units and medical booth available.
SG PORTRAIT : We are a SG of avatars modeled as closely as possible to our real life personae (schizophrenics, beware!) in terms of appearance, choice of powers and character name (we ''orientalize'' our real name). We ''translate '' ourselves into superheroic game toons along the lines of martial arts movie lore and so, we give some leeway as how you represent yourself (you may choose to appear as a ninja even if you are not one in real life; if you were, we know you wouldn't tell anyway :-) so it must be just a fantasy...).
The idea here is to have fun pretending we ARE living in Paragon City as we are in actuality (more or less...) but on a heroic scale. Therefore, we have pretty strict, numerous and detailed requirements:
REQUIREMENTS : members must, without exception, be of natural origin, fully human in appearance, as closely modeled as possible to your real life looks and built, and of one of the following archetypes only:
scrappers :
martial arts
dual blades
katana
Broadsword
with either super reflexes, willpower or invulnerability
With good background/explanation, we might accept
regeneration as a secondary set
tankers :
superstrenght
battle axe
war mace
with either willpower or invulnerability
blasters :
archery/devices
assault rifle/devices
controllers :
none; despite the real world's amazing illusionists and supposedly psychic people, reality may be stretched so far... and we strive for a martial arts movie type of SG.

Kheldians : none
All characters must be approved by the leader personally before joining the SG. Any character found to be in violation of the requirements will be immediately kicked out until the fault is corrected (starting over, respec etc).
The choices of powers are also severely restricted. All those of your allowed primary or secondary sets are accepted of course; but those from the power pools and ancillary powers must be chosen with a strong emphasis on would-be realism (albeit pushed to the extreme of fantasy martial arts movies). Listed below are the only allowed pools and powers:

TEMPORARY POWERS : those gained during play are free to use
(we might strive for a certain style of play, but the game world is full of extraordinairy opportunities you might stumble upon even as a mere mortal... and they are, after all, temporary).
VETERAN BONUS POWERS: allowed because they are like an extraordinary heritage or special loan from Paragon City etc
Your character name must be directly inspired from your real name (first name, middle name, surname, any combination of those) and modified to at least sound Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai etc If you already are of one of those ethnic groups, you can of course use your real name if you wish. We apologize to these ethnic communities for these deformed names' sounds or look; they are just for the fun of it and in no way meant as an insult or derogatory. If you happen to find it so, please notify us and the character will be renamed or deleted immediately (so people, take care of what you choose and do a little research before committing yourself).
Your costume is free for you to choose, but should be ideally as much as possible inspired by a martial arts or real-life style (wearing miedeval armor for a swashbuckling or samurai type of character might be understandable, but looking like a robot or a zombie would not). Remember, we try to make our toon look as much as our real selves as possible, even as a costumed hero.
There is a team uniform mandatory at level 20 (when you get your second costume slot) when teaming up with other members (officers must wear it in any team action).It is all white baggy long sleeved shirt and baggy white pants with a martial arts knot-centered belt. Some accessories (like gloves and glasses) are allowed (leader's approval; a cigar will certainly not be). Officers only will wear a black belt. Only the leader wears black stripes. officers must wear white at all times, even out of uniform. the leader is always in uniform.
A third uniform, for non adventuring events and special ceremonies is required at level 30 (with the third costume slot available): marine blue long sleeved business suit with assorted pants (women may wear a skirt with shoes but not boots or socks), white shirt with blue tie and white shoes.
Only officers are allowed black shoes and the SG symbol in gold on their upper left chest. Only the 1st rank officers and leader are allowed to go into missions with this suit on.
So, for example: the Korean-looking name Han Do Rhee said very fast sounds pretty close to the French first name ''Andre'' wich is the real first name of our leader. He is middle aged, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, somewhat athletic in built, with long dark brown hair, clean shaven, with small eyes, thin lips and a straight nose, pretty much like his actual toon (in fact, people find it astoundingly close to his actual appearance). He's a real-life 6th dan Taekwon-do black belt and 2nd dan Hapkido black belt instructor, so he is in-game a martial arts/super reflexes scrapper heavily oriented on kicking and jumping moves and attacks.
Our last but most important rule is this: courtesy, integrity and correctness in langage, attitude and deed is mandatory at all times, even with villains (some leeway is permissible for roleplaying purposes, but don't push it, and make it clearly so).Violation of this code of conduct, like acting traitorously (attacking heroes in Warburg, cheating during trade, etc) or dishonorably (begging for influence, stealing from base or other characters in PvP, etc) will not be tolerated. Officers and leader will evaluate the gravity of the wrong behavior reported, hear the accused's side of the story and decide on proper sanction.

SG Comments: The New England Knights is currently recruiting active Supergroup members. Gamers who are from New England or hell if your character is from New England. We are not heavily into the whole RP thing just a bunch of Guys and Gals that want to get together and play a game we all love and make new friends. We have put together a small base with TP's to lower zones to help make travel a bit easier for those that are lower levels. The more active members we recruit the bigger and more functional the base can become. And we do offer higher lvl support so if you need help with a lvl 39 mish we have guys at all lvls. We also get together on Badge Mish and give everyone in the SG a chance to earn certian badges through communication.

The Justice Guard
Not normally "themed" as many SGs, the Justice Guard has; at a glance; blossomed into a sort of homage to the style of multi-theme and all inclusive group mildly reminiscent of the recent incarnation of DC's "The Justice League Unlimited" in that we don't subscribe to a unified "flavor" or singular unifying thread combining all characters into a group. We've striven to see that not only our membership, storylines/plot points and activities but the overall structure of the SG, the base, etc, aren't at all replays of that, but rather interesting and compelling examples of the spectrum that CoH's player-base has to offer.
We're a Medium RP guild. That means that even though we conduct and actively seek out and engage in RP activities, a member doesn't necessarily have to be a RolePlayer. Nor are we "rp nazis" as for the most part, RP is always held to private groups, events, or a more general sort that doesn't interfere with a PUG or Grinding groups progression. For the most part, our membership reflects the desire to not just grind up a character through missions, powers, and what have you; but to develop and interact with...well...real "people". Characters that have some depth, lives of their own to explore and experiences in this hectic world of superheroes fighting evil to share. Also, we're a family. Joining the Justice Guard means that you've joined a collective of people that are open to each other IRL.
We've a TS channel that we make use of daily, as well as forums that serve to provide a foundation of communication for all our members. This is something that we openly offer, and if anyone's interested, please don't feel shy in asking.
Outside RP, we want for our members to succeed. Whether it be in street missions, TFs or Hami raids, ect; our player's fun level is paramount. With several long time players, we've more than enough time in-game on multiple ATs and PowerSets to offer that experience and advice to any of our number that wish it. Helping each other is another key factor in our mutual enjoyment.
