Ok so I got Sana up to 2 rogue/1 fighter and started running around the market place. I did the Kobold Blockade in the steam tunnels for the first time ever, and oh the loot at the end. I got a +2 rapier, and +2 leather armor, and I had enough cash to go buy some other +1 weapons for other damage types. It made me feel so much more powerful, and now... I want more more MORE! lol. I PnP and it is always cool to get cool new swords and armor, but it never quite had this feeling. Does anyone else get this feeling when they get new gear?

I LOVE getting new gear! I haven't gotten as luck as you have it seems, but I always try out the new cool weapon, and even if the armor isn't something I would ever use, I always try it on to see how it looks on me.

lol well if it makes you feel any better until I ran that set of quests the best thing I had found that was usable by my rogue was a +1 set of padded armour.

after many attempts at starting and sticking with a character, I now have a level 2 fighter. Just to fill in 15 minutes I logged in and did a run through of the kidnapping quest in the harbor. took me about 6 minutes, got a set of +1 Full Plate...oh the power. I almost called in sick to work so that I could go slay more kobolds without taking any damage. Now if I am using defensive fighting my AC is 30. Beautiful. Now I just need a better weapon than the masterwork longsword I am using.

OMG!!! That is totally, totally awsome!!! Makes me want to run that quest a few more times!

If the gear is crack, then the quests are a dose of heroin. The whole god damn game is addicting. From getting weapons and armor to just doing a quest. It makes you feel so accomplished after every single one.

Yeah, I've found myself up past 1 am on weekdays a couple of times since it has come out. You know what is better, getting 5 hours of sleep and going to work, or playing DDO? heh...

Geo Wizard: Lvl 50 Earth/Kin With Speed Boost and Stamina yay. Not to mention kick butt holds. Including Volcanic Gases, hehe. And now with his own moronic Animated Stone. And Transference!!! New and improved, 3 lvls in one day, adding to his arsenal Fulcrum Shift..oh yea. Can't wait to get some time under his belt now. I can now hurl Boulders....omfg no he didn't :) I look so pimp in my newest power...its brown and bumpy all over..can you guess?... Thats right is Stone Armor and it is kick butt. Fissure rocks my world! Fifty soon. Fifty on 12-10-2005 at 12:35am after 400hrs of hard labor Wanna throw a special shout out to Illusion Mastor, CBail, Mudpuppy, Jupiter Sweets, Dark Hollow, Lethal Fury, Pan, Majin Tank, Lotus of Death, and all the others i know I am forgetting for their help. And also to all the gameampers here at gameamp whom without I would never have made it.

Servers are down for 3 hours (Gasp). My hands are swetty cant breath.. noo not addicted must have.. shaking. Ok maby i will go have a smoke it may help and hopefully they made a mistake on down time and they will be up when i get back LOL ya ya wishfull thinking i know :D

In the Harbor / Lobster / Dignhey quests, you know, the Kobolds infestation section :p I got a few really good drops. Not the least of which being a bundle of 20 +1 arrows of lesser rertilian bane. At 18 Dex and firing on Shamans, they went down like flies. Gloves of disabling. Necklace of Bluffing and Cowl of Eloquence ((+1 to Diplomacy)). Then came my +1 ShortSword of Lesser Reptilian bane and a Khopesh of the same. Some +1 Throwing Stars ...
Let's just say that it's real fun sneaking Kobolds now.

As far as I know +5 max, I mean lvl limit is only 10, so when they increase the lvl they may increase the + on items.

I thought it was bad in the beginning. Then I got to mid levels and started seeing incredible things. Burst weapons, axiomatics, bannishing, vorpals, weakenings Oh My !.
After watching people in my party pull incredible things over and over while I whined and snivelled, staring in stunned disbelief at the Scroll Of Stubbed Toe I received after killing a Drow and Flesh Rend., it happened !
I got a +4 INT ring ! Woohoo ! Oh wait. Min level 9 ! Double Dam It !
At 43 (that's right, Im older than dirt), The Evil Troll Leader (My wife) says that I'm addicted to this game. I explained that I am merely passionate about playing. Further, if she elected to besmirch this game, I would no longer slay monsters to defend her honor.
She tried to cast DOOM, but I made my saving roll.
Next time she pops off, she is gonna catch a +2 backhand.
Still, I fear the sneak attack with the +3 Frying Pan of Crippling while I sleep.
