Sanctum Cay, Impossible?

WtF is Happening to Sanctum Cay, its almost impossible now.
Can any1 give me a reason 4 that.

docks

at the docks there is a huge white mantle Gathering on the smae place as the vizier is casting "reclaim source"

I think you may have taken too long to get down to the docks after you talked to the Vizier the last time. I know that that has happened to me. We were trying to do the bonus and took too long, got down to the dock and the Vizier was overwhelmed. Just my thoughts.

no, 'running' the mission has been nerfed, about 30- white mantle wait for you, keeping level 2's out of amnoon

hmmmm, maybe i will grab some henchies and do it, likely you will have to pull them in groups, you cant just attack 30 white mantle. did you try agro'ing them in small pieces?

What i want to know is HOW you even get into the mission..........i've dont it legitamently in the past(played through with my first char). And now, since the last update, i error whenever i try to start the mission. According to other people in Europe, in Sanctum Cay to be exact, they too are getting a network error when they try to start the mission.

Update in whenever I dont feel lazy.

Sanctum Kay is EASY PIE

honeslty I could solo mantle at level 16 with my warrior. There is a place where you can stand that makes the mantle not show up at all :O but I'm not going to tell you where it i quite yet ;).

If you'll be on REALLY late tonight I can help ya with it for sure. he he he impossible... pfft. Maybe I'll just solo it and record it with gamecam for kix :D he he he.

if you would read more closely, it's been nerfed, the 30 white mantle are standing and waiting for you, there is no 'running' the mission that way now.

and yeah, everyone knows where to stand so they cant hit you, they dont do anything but shoot the hill

It was a bug that has been corrected. From the GW website:

pdate - Friday March 10

* Fixed the Glint statue in Droknar's Forge so that it responds properly to player actions.
* Fixed a bug at the end of "Sanctum Cay" that caused the White Mantle to show up too early, or not at all.
* Restored the skill Signet of Resurrection to its normal behavior.

We did this mission yesterday with a one level 20 and a couple of level 16.

There are lots of with mantles on the pier, the thing to do is to lure a few of them and fight them and then do the same agian.

I takes a while b4 you finfish the mission now but it can be done :)

It is still runnable, but harder. After he starts raising the ship, you gotta sit there and tank, using healing hands(that means no charge), mending, and healing signet. Its harder, but still runable none the less.

lol I ran Sanctum last night when the problem was really bad and failed first go, 2nd go did it easy, and today after they made a fix, Mantle still show up but there are only 2 waiting there at the start and more come no matter how close you get to the vizier, still easy as pie.
I ran it with a ranger... I will let you guess the build.

PS. It can also be done with a warrior still and im guessing a monk can do it aswell, I will try that one later.

last time i did it i had an ownage team.
1 n/e(me) as the strongest nuker.
1 n/r as the fiend master
2 monks where one of them has casted mending on the 2 wariors.
2 warriors as tank.

we where unbeatable, normaly i'll die becours of the boss bone dragon but with this team i didn't even lost over the 25%.
all i can say is take a good team, also take atleast 2 warriors(if you're not one) and a good heal/protect monk.

Yeah it can still be run, I know at least 4 completely different methods of running this mission post-updates pretty much without losing any health at all.
I won't be sharing though but just confirming it's possible, keep trying if you're failing. =P
