Is your main your favorite?

Jordan is definitely my favorite. She has the best character design, fun powers, and is great for gameplay. I haven't done alternate costumes for any of my toons yet except her (and I've done 6 or more for her :)

Hmmm...I have to say that my main, Mr Brightside, is my favorite hero thus far. His power sets are extremely entertaining, and I feel like he can do pretty much anything. Plus, I've always loved the irony of his name. In case anyone didn't know, I originally named him Brightside because I'm an incredibly pessimistic person.

I did like my main toon the best until 3 days ago. My main toon is a Claw/Regen Scrapper. I think claw has the most variety among other scrappers...until 3 days ago when I made a dark/dark scrapper...HE IS SO MUCH FUN! Especially Siphon Life! But the claw scrap is my highest...and I have to get him to 50...just have to!

I love my main, Geo Wizard at the Bottom, Good Story, awesome RP opportunities, great power set combinations...he is overall a great character.

Although right now I am having fun with my brute and my stalker...SS/Invuln and Spines/Regen fun fun fun

Geo Wizard: Lvl 50 Earth/Kin With Speed Boost and Stamina yay. Not to mention kick butt holds. Including Volcanic Gases, hehe. And now with his own moronic Animated Stone. And Transference!!! New and improved, 3 lvls in one day, adding to his arsenal Fulcrum Shift..oh yea. Can't wait to get some time under his belt now. I can now hurl Boulders....omfg no he didn't :) I look so pimp in my newest power...its brown and bumpy all over..can you guess?... Thats right is Stone Armor and it is kick butt. Fissure rocks my world! Fifty soon. Fifty on 12-10-2005 at 12:35am after 400hrs of hard labor Wanna throw a special shout out to Illusion Mastor, CBail, Mudpuppy, Jupiter Sweets, Dark Hollow, Lethal Fury, Pan, Majin Tank, Lotus of Death, and all the others i know I am forgetting for their help. yes my main Super Turtle is my favorite by far....it was my first toon made in CoH...it had the best costumes of all my toons....it has my favorite AT and powers......its the toon everyone knows me by

My main is who I am. She is the perfect character. Then I6 and COV came and she was parked for 5 months. But now I am working on her last stretch to 50, and I realize again how much I love playing her. So yes, my main is definately my favourite.

Well, I only started sunday, so I don't have a main. I've filled a whole server with characters, and frankly, theres only a few I love. My fire/fire blaster... (Hey, how can't you love being one? Sure, other people are a pain in the arse when they are fire/fire, but not when it's you! :)) and my kin/archery, who just seems to own!

My toons and what happened to my original one....

I go back and forth a lot. Brim is my main, at lvl 46. He's great at protecting people, but lately I've gotten kinda tired of that. So, for awhile there my main villian, Krai Havok, was my favorite. Then my blaster, Ghost Fire-Fox, was my favorite. Right now, I'm having a heck of a fun time playing my scrapper, Prince of Jacob. It's nice to be a killer, and independent at the same time.

Prince of Jacob is based off of the Archangel Michael that is found in the Bible. He looks cool too, I should put a pic of him on here sometime. He's broadsword/regen.

Captain Icy-Hot was my very first character I ever made, a fire/ice blaster and I got him to lvl 33. My wife started playing CoH on the same account that I did when I got the game too, we used to take turns playing. Then I got a huge bonus at work, and I bought a second computer so we both could play. Sigh... it was at that point that I let her keep the old account with my beloved Icy on it, and I took the new one.

Because we played together all the time, I wound up deleting Captain Icy-Hot as a hero, and remaking him as a villian Ice-Fire dominator. I put the story in on his bio as a dom, explained how he bumped his head in a fight and got confused as to who was the good guys and who was the bad guys... I should write some fan fiction and put it in here. Lol... my wife thinks I'm a big enough nerd as it is that I chat on this... (no offence, my friends) ...I might as well throw some gas on the fire!! :-)

It's a tie for me for my favorites. Marly my claws/regen scrapper I love to do missions with and play her, but I also love my archer/fire blaster Jay-Jay. Explains my forum name too, I love em both mucho =)

ok well honestly it's almost a tie... my old main Sapph was my favorite, she as fun, it was easy to get a team and I genuinly enjoyed playing her. If you haven't tried one an iil/emp troller is great fun and team friendly.... anthough not eh most popular secondary for ill.

but my new main... Russia.. my ss/invuln tank... she might possible pass Sapph as my all time favorite. she has a fun story that allows me to rp when I want to, she's not a huge damage dealer but she can wrack up some serious aggro when I need it. She's just fun to play, and I never thought I'd have a tank...that she's fast becoming my favorite is astounding to me. :)

Favorite

I still love playing my 50, but I mostly use here for Hamidon Raids now (need to buff up for the new PvP zone!) so I don't play her much.

Right now my favorite is my Level 8 Electric/Devices Blaster or my Warshade...I'm slowly growing into my Peacebringer now that she's level 27.

I play my Stalker a lot, but that's mostly so I can get him to 40 before Issue 7.

Unfortunately, my main has fallen a bit by the wayside as my favorite server has migrated. My main server for the longest time was Triumph. My D3, Black Tom Katt, has always been fun. He used to be a part of a SG with a handful of friends that I met there. Unfortunately, the group dried up and blew away when two of our number (there were 5 or 6 of us, only 4 of which were the core group) just stopped showing up online. I'm not sure what happened (although some suspect EQ or WoW are to blame). Since then, I migrated to Victory, where I spend most of my time. Basically, I'm also an alt junkie, so a 'main' is kind of an alien concept for me anymore. :)

Even being a completely incurable altoholic, my first toon and main Thundarpants is definately still my favorite. I love to blast, and the effects on the Electrical Blasters, and a little of my own personal history of getting myself electrocuted drew me to the build in the first place. I love to run him on the "Push to 50" teams. I'm currently completing the old TF's I passed up to complete the sets.

Of course my main is my favorite. I can't see why it wouldn't! Red Scout is the only one that I've taken to 50, but its kind of hard to go from taking a Tank to 50 to you squishies to 50... my hats off to you guys. There are times when I play my AR/Dev Blaster I forget I'm not a Tank anymore and I tend to die quickly until I go 'Oh yeah, I can't take everything head on anymore.' Too many hits to head as a Tank I tells ya.

I'm very torn between Protusion and Toxic Summoner. Since I got to pick my favorite I'll say that my main (Protusion) is my favorite. Even after I made lvl 50 I played him over and over again. I got most of the badges and built him for speed. My least favorite was a CoV Stalker named Skor that I recently deleted.

My favorite is Evil Lemons because its fun, and I get killed alot letting me get pissed, thus making me more addicted to him also the other alts just don't seem that fun 2 easy.

My main, who is not my namesake, is still my overall favorite, and will continue to be because I based her on my wife. :-)

And as an Emp/NRG defender, works well as a healer and as a support blaster, so what's not to like? :-D

Firespray will always have a very fond special place in my heart as he was the first character I created. He was based on an old table top roleplaying character I had for many years.

He stalled as all good fire fire fire blasters do coz of debt, he made friends, he joined a supergroup and helped a lot of people and one day I WILL reach 50 with him.

My second fave is definately Flat Line. My second empath defender, designed to just be a walking heal bank for Gigawatt when he started playing. I love the way the character took off and headed and it led to the formation of the SHADE OF VENGEANCE SG on the Defiant Server, a Supergroup that I am very proud to be a creator of and a joint leader with other members of the european Gameamp community - xtreme hippy and hobsnob. Gig don't play that much but he's still there. Oh that guy Dark Side is a member too, with his squishy squiddy. :o)

My current Fave tho is just wiping the floor with everything else I have played.

Little Rock, my stone stone Tank. 4 feet of attitude - scrappy doo with a mallet. From the clockwork king to Babbage he don't care, and thats the attitude I have when I play him. Hold the aggro, be the first line of offense / defense and keep the squishies alive by taunting off any aggro they get.

21 levels in 6 days, one TF and the Knight Errant and Spelunker badges. I love playing him.

A special mention though has to go to Shadow Claw. He's a member of a 'static' that I play alongside hobs and hippy - and only with them. A claws regen scrapper. Think Little Rock with claws but squishier :o) Its a team that works REALLY well.

Anyways I got work to do, real life kicks in again.

Das Carrot has been my main for quite some time. I stopped for a while when the Veggies broke up, but got him back on track. I got him to level 31. I enjoy the comments when an 8 foot carrot lands in the middle of the team for the first time.

I really enjoy the team support I can provide. I may not do major damage but I assist and keep those that deal it alive.

I will say though, sometimes I love just running around with Swiss Spines (Spines/Regen Scrapper) and laying the smack down.

i play my PB the most, but my main is my favorite toon. Ive done so many costume changes with him, so many respecs lol. just to get him perfect, IMHO.

Icon? Never use the place... Never get me changing costumes just to get the 'perfect look'. Don't you think though that a few new items are needed as there just isnt anything left to try...

My main is by far my crowing CoH achievement, sure you may accuse him of being a psuedo Batman or Midnighter knockoff but my god Blackhawk is down right badass, cool looking to boot.

When I set forth to make him I used many attributes from some of my favorite comic characters. Make a combo but unique character also. Being a MA/SR just makes him look even cooler in battle. These sets have some; if not; the coolest looking moves/attacks in game. And makes me one of the most deadliest single target heroes in the WORLD! Well Paragon City at least. Yes yes you maybe able to AoE 50 villains at once but can you take a boss or higher down on your own...doubtful. Can you do it looking as cool as me? No way!

So yes I love my main, Blackhawk is as the kiddies say 133t or something to that effect. I just love his costume, its simple yet very very cool looking. Not too Batmanish but also not walking around like a blue and red M&M. If seen some bad costumes and boy you would think some heroes are color blind when they design themselves.

Concerning Icon and favorite characters, see my sig for my new idea of the number 1 change needed to CoH. I forgot to add that they need to improve mission maps so there's not so unrealistic and repetative. How cool would it be if you could enter a building and go up the levels to the top like in the early part of Final Fantasy 7 instead of this weird system where the elevators only go up one level at a time and are spread all over.

I've changed my main's costumes several times, and will several times more possibly, but right now I spend more time altering my alts costumes as I'm pretty happy with my main's.

Although I don't make Serge jump through hoops the way Firespray has (and I don't blame you for that at all man. If I had the influence, I would too. :-p), I do think that there should be more options, and more, and more, and I know there will always be just one more idea I'd like to see come into costuming, no matter how many have already been implemented.

Yes, I did waste too many years of my life in theatre working on costuming, why do you ask? All I want is freaking perfection. Is that too much? :-p

I agree completely with Jordan that being able to use the character creation when the account isn't active would probably lead to more reactivations.

The big thing I'd like would be to be able to scale one's own colors. A little more blue in the turquoise, or just a touch darker, etc. That would be great.

If excitement doesn't emphasize Mr. Yummy's capability, I don't know what else does. Laying mines down in the middle of a battle, novas to finish off 30+ baddies. Teamed up with a good tank that can herd, i can kill anything within radius of my aoe's... Fun fun fun.

Hmmm, it's hard to say who my 'Main' is anymore. My Elec/Elec Blaster was always my 'Main' until he achieved 50. Now he is just a toon I take off the shelf once in awhile for old times' sake. I will say that he is not as much fun to play nowadays, having grown up in the pre-ED age of 6-slotted damage. He just has a bit of a neutered feel to him now. Still fun, but not like he was once upon a time.

Now I keep switching back and forth depending on my mood. I have Kinetics and Empathy Defenders, Spines and Claws Scrappers, a couple of Tanks, and a Controller. None of them get played for more than a few days at a time and then I rotate to another one. I like to focus more now on creating character concepts with interesting backstories, things like that.

So, I guess to answer the question: I will always be very fond of my 'Main' as a toon I played for so long and was (and currently is) my only 50. However, I cannot say he is my favorite. All my heroes are very fun to play.

Well, my fifth toon to roll, my BS/Inv scrapper and namesake, has become my main. At the start, he wasn't my favorite, but merely a way to excise some of my Conan fixations.

I played all my toons fairly equally up into the teens, but then concentrated on Caligari, as he had the best survivabilty at the time, so I thought it would be easier to get him up.

Well, almost a year has passed, and now that I am only a few Fake Nemesis away from 49, I have to say, that my main is definitely my favorite...at least until I get my squid, so we'll see...lol.
