its got alot of different kits and vehicles so everyone is doing something different, and your suposed to work together and bring the other teams tickets to 0, or capture all the flags

its not exactly "capture the flag", but there are different bases that are "better or worse" from a tactical standpoint, so no the whole point is not capture the flag, bases you capture act as spawn points for your team, and the team you stole them from and steal them back.

Overall I think it's a great quality game. It takes a bit out of your RAM and video card but it's a good game. There's neutral spawning zones on each map. To capture them you must stand at the base of the flag until your flag hits the top of the pole, after it does you have "captured a flag" or a base. Now that base will act as your spawning zone. You can pick your spawning zones depending on what side you're on and which base you control. You can form up into squads to take on more of a team playing role. Some servers allow voice communication where the squad can talk amongst themselves about tactics, this adds much more realism to the game. You have a total of 6 kits to choose from : Anti-tank (Sub machine gun, pistol, and rocket launcher), sniper (sniper rifle, sileneced pistol, frag grenades, and claymores), engineer (rachet for repairing mechanized vehicles and anti-air and vehicle stations, frag grenades, pistol, shotgun, and anti tank mines), spec ops( rifle, frag greandes, C4, pistol), support (heavy machine gun, pistol, ammunition bag, and frag grenades), medic (rifle, pistol, frag grande, medical kit, and this....revivey thingy I dunno what it's called but it revives people), assault (rifle with grenade launcher attached, frag grenade, smoke greande, pistol). The games pretty fun. Each kit has it's own role and ability on a map. You should definetly buy it.
NOTE: all the weapons kida change when you get upgrades for ranking up
Sorry if any o fthis is wrong... but for the most part it should be pretty accurate? I probly forgot a silenced pistol here or there.

Thanks for the info... sounds like a good game to me...
just need a upgrade to my from 1.3 mghz to the requiered 1.7 and im online...... but im not sure about my vid card...

FYI, upgrading to the MINIMUM specs is going to be a waste of money. minimum specs means the game will run on that system, but it's going to run like crap.
seriously, for high end (ie, FPS) gaming, you need a really good PC.
at least a 2.8 gig processor, preferably higher
at least a g6600, preferably better
at least 512 megs of ram (for bf2 at least 1 gig)

Yeah, I really liked this game. The thing that turned me off about it, was that sometimes it was difficult to find a sever with a decent ping. And also the loading times. Ugh, seemed like I would wait for days for the game to load. I was running it on 1.8 athlon xp with 1gb ram, 128mb radeon 9000 pro, and 1.5mb DSL. Other than the long loading, it played just fine for me, once I found a good server with decent ping. Any ping over 99 gave me lag while playing. Lag in this game is pretty crappy and if I got it all the time, I would quit playing.
Overall, it's a pretty cool game. I loved to climb up the anything I could and start sniping ppl.
