self comfessed noob lol

hello this is my first post on here sooo
Hello all.
Im going to be buying this soon and i was wondering if i could get sum beginner/noobie tips on playing/finance/characters etc

Hi and let me start off by welcoming you to the site. I hope you enjoy your stay stick around for a while.

Now to answer your question.

One major tip I can give you would be to check out some of the great addons available for the game. most definately check out the Titanbar addon and I would recommend getting the Auctioneer addon I'll add some linkage to both of these once I get a chance to hunt them down.

I would definately recommend finding a good big guild to join ASAP it can make your experience durring the lower levels that much more enjoyable and keep you from being stranded when you come across those just plain hard quests. Just don't beg too much.

Also once you've obtained a few levels and are starting to come across more and more green level or higher items check out the auction houses they will be your best friend when looking for new items or for making a lil gold here and there by selling off the items you don't need. (this is where the Auctioneer addon comes in handy btw)

Start saving your money now. If you plan on getting that mount when you reach lvl 40 (wich you will) I'd start saving as much as possible ASAP.

Other than that have fun and please oh please if your on my server (rexxar) refrain from posting those horrible chuck norris jokes. :)

Never saw the auctioneer mod, I like that.

Try CT Mod also, and when you get more into the game, try NurfHUD. The HUD is an awesome layout.

And yes the Auctioneer mod is great....I've never run CT I might have to check that one out pretty soon.

HeHe some more mods you should download:

-Discord Action Bars replaces those inconvenient and ugly default action bars with clean, fully customizable buttons.

-Discord Unit Frames replaces the ugly player/party/target frames with customisable, nice looking, and best of all: useful frames.

-Discord Library - you'll need this for the above mods.

-MetaMap - the greatest map mod of them all, it makes the map into a customizable, draggable window, it also has maps of all the in-game instances. Another great feature is the Knowledge base, which collects data of every NpC in the game, so when you need to find that guy to turn in your quest you can just search him and it will make a note on the map!

-Gatherer - remembers where you have mined a certain ore/gathered a certain herb and marks it on the map.

-Meta Inventory - gathers all your bags together in one easy to use inventory viewer.

-Recommended Level - tells you what level you should be to be in your current zone, and tells you a list of zones/instances you should be in right now.

-Scrolling Combat Text Displays all your combat information in a final fantasy style animation, useful to see your hits and how much damage you're taking, it also warns you when your health is low, and when you can use conditional attacks (like Warrior's overpower).

Ummm, that's about all I reccommend for now, call back when you're a little further through the game =)

Of-course download Auctioneer and Titan, they are awesome mods that I use myself too, you'll soon realise that mods are sooo great I use 50+ myself they make life so much easier lol.
