Doing the same missions

Just wondering if this is random or if this does work...

My girlfriend and I are on the Champion server. We are both level 11. I am a stalker / magic and she is a brute / science.

When we came to Port Oakes we realized that we both have different contacts for missions.

I am wondering, if we both create characters who have the same background such as magic would we get the same contact to do missions together? We would only need to do them once while in a team.

Hi there,
I too am on champion! My husband and I play together all the time.
If you want the same missions which is possible you must select the same contact from the training area.
Either Kalinda or the other dude..lol
You will recieve the same missions for most of the contact although you may recieve some of the contacts missions at different times.

First off, welcome to our evil little site, Diophantus! I hope you enjoy your stay...

It sounds like you might be referring to the brokers you get for the newspaper missions? Paintgirl is right about the 'regular' contacts, but I think which broker you get in each zone is a random thing. Their missions will be similar, but I think they will all unlock the same 'regular' contacts for ya.

Thank you all for the replies!

We are still both noobs to the CoV and CoH games and are still learning it. We both left Final Fantasy XI for this I had a 70 Samurai and she had a 60 Black Mage.

We can understand that there should be some various stuff in the game so its not just the same thing over and over...just didnt know if there was a way to do the same missions with one team.

Thank you both and the others that view this. GameAmp is by far the best site that I have seen cover CoV and CoH!!!
