Has any1 got any advice for completing the last day dawns quest becos it is so hard. Any advice is much appreciated.

Get a bunch of smiting monks and have them turn the king into a smiting machine with balth's aura, SoJ, Str of Honor, Judge's Insight. Then stay behind the king and keep him healed while he tears apart the enemy. thats the easiest way i know of doing it and it doesnt take long either.
Edit: but you are going to have a REALLY hard time finding 3 other smiter/healers so you are going to have to use friends of guildies. The mission itself didnt take long with that method but it took me a looong time to find 6 people. You can also use warriors that are smite monk secondaries but they wont be as effective.

When I completed LDD quest with my ranger, I actually did it with a group that started from yak's bend. We (I actually...) then ran the distance to the frontier. I'm not sure if it's changed since updates, but we were able to zone into the town with a party of 6 even though you can only pick up 4 in the town. We then switched from run skills and walked back out the door to do the quest as a party of 6 instead of 4. This made it a lot easier to do.

I did that as well i did the same thing for dnkp...but i went from TOA with a group of 8 lmao....im all for w/e makes my life easier

I somehow did it was a 4man team, w, ele, n, mo, I dont know how, but we managed to do it.... I think part of it is keeping the kings monks alive

Besides builds that are specifically designed for this quest and thus most likely need a dedicated guild team to pull off successfully, it is possible to complete the quest with a wide variety of different teams, as long as some basic requirements are observed:
* you have best chances when your party consists of one stance anchor (tank), one healer (monk), one main damage dealer (nuker or necro) and one caster-hate character (mesmer or ranger)
* this is not a place for newbies or freeloaders - everybody must know what their task is and play accordingly
* (this should be self-evident at this level) if you are not the tank but get aggroed nonetheless, kite, don't try to slug it out!
* don't let the king's guards die, they help a lot
* this quest like many defending ones is mostly about energy management - if you are running dry and failing because of that, have another look at your build to see how you could manage your energy more efficiently
I have completed this quest with many different characters, both in guild and random teams. It is difficult, yes, but not extensively so. A group of 4 decent players should be able to do it if not on the first then at least on the second attempt.

I've done this twice. Each time with balanced builds. I usually run from ToA to the B___ Hot Springs, or Kryta. But SOOO many times you have one or two leavers which makes the run pointless. I did meet members of my current guild the first time I beat this quest, and the one after it. It's the only guild I've liked enough to stay with for over a month (been with them since about a month, more or less, after the titans quest were added). So I guess there is some advantage to pick up groups :)

I brought all smite on my mesmer and we MCowned...:P
Thanks for the suggestion. The other monks were heal, we had a water ele, necro and tank. We did it on the second try. Thanks so much!

I did it with two monks a warrior and a ranger. One smite monk like the smite king mentioned above.

Last day dawns is from vision of Grenth in Drok's (need to compleet defend drok's first).
It's a quest for 20K xp.
You need to kill 5 groups of titans with 4 ppl (and keep that king alive too).
I did it with a monk, a warrior, a barrage-ranger and an ele (me).
The trick is to kill the spawning titans before the titans in the original group. So start with the big ones (maybe after sparks) and kill the spawning ones (Burning titan -> Risen ashen hul -> Titans hand & Titans fist).
The next group is triggered after you kill the last member of the original group.
If you keep that in mind, it's a lot easier...

I did this with my ranger, another ranger, a tank and a monk from the Frontier Gate. I was mainly keeping up spirits (Winter always good against burning titans, and greater conflagration which turned all the tanks attacks to fire damage, which was then turned to cold damage by Winter), and spiking damage whenever I got a chance.
We had some really close calls right at the end, but managed to make it through. I still have two Titan Quests left on my primary character, but hardly anybody seems to be doing them anymore. :-(
