Can someone tell me how to unlock the weapon kits? As you can tell I am new to the game. Thanks.

you have to move up ranks and when you get promoted, it will award you unlocks.

So that's how you do it huh? Are you promoted by just the amount of time you spend playing, or is it a certain number of kills?

for the first few ranks you only need a certain number of global points (kills and team points), then after a while you need to have certain badges and points to get to different ranks.

None of my ribbons or badges are getting unlocked. I have 1 badge unlocked and that's it. I have all the reqs to have them unlocked but they aren't. Does anyone know why?
Also, how do you deploy the parachute?

the parachute...um...it's been so long since I played Battlefield 2. I think it was the U key. I'll see if I can find it and edit the post.
Found it. It's the 9 key.

you need some time in the thing you want the badge for like the ground defence you need one hour i think and some kills.

Like I said before, if you don't like answering these questions, then just don't post. I'm more than happy to try to help people out when I can, so don't sweat it. There's still no need for calling people nubs, noobs, whatever just because they asked a question that you felt should be common knowledge.
