hey i bhought a computer for christmas for myself and it has been impossible to play guildwars due to the fact that whenever i change weapons stay on for say more than 5 mins a blue screen apears and switches off my computer this is causing unberable to play with please someone help me

What kind of computer is it? Make? Specs?

Phoenix is probably right. My guess would be the video card also. the box on guild wars will tell you system requirements. If you have the specs of your computer somewhere (considering you just bought it it has to be somewhere around) compare all the things and see if you match up.
I still think video card. I dont know anything of nothing though, but I still will say video card ***ok Jade he/she gets the point shut up now....***

I just googled the Dimension 3100 and found that its VGA card (graphics processor) is just a standard default card.
Assuming you havent upgraded the PC in any way, my assumption is that the problem is most likely the Graphics card.
Maybe try running the game in lower graphic settings. if that doesnt work you might unfortunately have to buy a graphics card. Dont worry too much they can be quite cheap nowdays :)

My laptop does it too... i have intel-card, and when i click ur link i am not allowed to click the intel link...! i created an accouint, but still didn't work!
my pc is better than requirements... so i dont get it...
