I was just wondering what method you used to get the alignments of the monsters in your database. My guild uses it do determine effectiveness of Holy or Axiomatic weapons. I'd gladly contribute but I don't feel like puttering around with one of each type of aligned weapon taking shots at mobs and seeing what sticks....
or is that what I'd have to do?

Wlcome to the site jdstew218!
I'm not sure how we've gone about it as I have just been recently made staff. I do know that you always pick up a Monster Manual hand book and anlignment types to any monster are in there.
The problem with Eberron seting is though, any monster can have any alignment. If the game follows this, I have no idea.
The mistakes of today, are the scares of tomorrow.

I've been kind of out of the PnP loop for a while now but I was wondering...are the named mobs in the books too as there are several in the database?

No, the named mobs are specific to DDO not the books. I believe all the quests/campaigns in DDO are original.

OK, so what I'm getting at is I'd like to help add more creatures to your database and since you got the alignments of named creatures unique to the DDO world, I was wondering how you went about doing that?

Ahh, sorry i misunderstood. The alignments of the named creatures are usually just derived from the creatures of the same family. So if a Bloodknuckles (a boss ogre) is an Ogre and the ogres are... lets say Chaotic Evil then we would just assume the boss mob is Chaotic Evil as well.
