Kurzick bcuz their good, but i will do tons of quests. I might even change my mind about it later on when i get the full Factions game.
The Characters under this account are currently taking a break from Guild Wars. For the time being, I am diverting my time to Star Wars Galaxies. *don't worry i will be back when nightfall comes out*

Why do you say they are good? I haven't read that anywhere - I think the Kurzicks are like necro's , that's my first impression - I'm still not sure but I'm leaning towards Luxon.

Wow, everyone keeps sayin luxons. That's what I wanted to be to begin with, but if that's what everyone wants to be, then I'll go Kurzicks just to be different.
I definatley thing the Luxons look cooler though. Of course it's not my decision. Whatever the guild does is what I got.

The Kurzicks. I dont like the name so Im gonna role with the Luxons ! But then again Im gonna create 2 Assassins and go thru the game again so the Kurzicks will get my attention next time!

One of my friends said that the kurzicks are good. He has seen the video, watch it and look for the symbols. They also say it in the game. They do look evil but they are really good. If you don't believe me just go into the preview event and find out for yourself or else wait for the full version to come out.

Having trouble deciding. I love the beauty of the Jade Sea and the big shells and turtles and ships (or are they walking machines..? They don't look much up to walking..) and the Luxon music is gorgeous; so sooothing..

Oh sorry!
I'm in love with the 'enchanted' forests and the depth and soul of Kurzick areas.. I love the sense of history about it and the huge ancient trees; pets (White Tiger, Black Moa) and the mysterious look of some of the characters..
Yeah.. leaning towards Kurzick right now..
Guess it'll be just me then! lol
I'll probably sit on the fence and join one side with one account and the other with the other ;)
Which though...? Necro kinda suits Kurzick, so that might help me choose..

I haven't decided yet. I played alot of both factions and liked them alot, though I am leaning more towards the Kurzicks. I just love that German Gothic style they have going on in the Pertified Forests.

Well our guild held a vote!
Not only was the vote to be what our choice would be but why we made that choice and what they were looking for in a faction.
This worked out well and Kurzicks won by 2/3 and the others were not too unhappy coz of the bonus's and future plans people had for siding with this faction.
PS; besides the armour and setting guildies with uniform sets of 15k Kurzicks armour the rest of our plans have to stay secret ,, shhh ,, Luxons may be near by ;)

It has been a real dilema for me...
The Kurzicks are refered to as artists, singers, and master architects by the luxons (I couldn't actually find the kurzic town during beta) From the way they talk, it seems as if the luxons are pirates that have been raiding the lurzic towns.
Luxons are as i already said, warlike pirates. They run about pillaging, plunedering, and making bad pirate movies in the carribian. But they have frikin sea turtles with cannons strapped to their backs.
So do I go good guy like I always do, or join the turtleside. My final answer for the beta was to simply shout TURTLE POWER!!!

Comparing Kurzick to Luxon is jut like comparing Christianity to Buddhism. Who are YOU to say whos 'good' and whos 'bad'. It's subjective and I can assure you that after playing and doing every quest on both sides I still think that if there is a set 'good' guy here then it would be the Luxon.
On the Luxon side there are constantly Kurzicks poping out of nowhere attacking you and during the mission they relentlessly try to massacre the Luxon's baby turtles until they are forced to ally with the Luxon's against the afflicted.
On the Kurzick side I never saw so much more than 1 not-surprise attack by the Luxon's and during their mission the Luxon's request an alliance with the Kurzicks agains the afflicted, also in a dialogue between one of the players and the NPC's of the kurzick side takes place to convince the Kurzicks to ally with the Luxons against the afflicted.
But as I already stated 'right' and 'wrong' are subjective and don't accurately reflect either side.
Can I get a PC?

I'm kinda torn here.
Ambientwise, I like both the Petrified Forest and the Jade Sea, but if one has to compare the people living there, then I'd have to say that I prefer the Kurzicks over the Luxons. However geekish aristocrats they may be, I'd rather be that than a nomadic pirate.
So, Fenn goes Kurzick!

Dang this is hard... umm Probably Kurzick because my favorite profession is Necromancer and it kinda suits. Though i really would love exploring the Jade sea..

i'm for the kurzicks, they dont seam so bad and they didn't realy choose too battle agains the luxor, the luxor did it by there self.
altough the jade see looks cool, i do perfer the wide open forrests and the fantasy like creatures in there.
let's just say i choose for nature unstead of pirat land.

Gotta go Kurzicks love there look, petrafied forest is so cool with buildings that look like cathedrals. Personaly luxons just look to boring, only thing I see going for them is they got kick ass turtles. But kurzick got the black moa bird and juggernaughts (giant walking Cactus's if u ask me)which make up for the lack of turtles.

it's up to my guild really so i dunno who i'll get stuck with..Of course it will prolly be up to my alliance since we are the lowest ranking guild there..so either way i'll be on one side or the other just dunno which one yet.

Hard to decide!
On one hand, Kurzik buildings and the petrified forest is amazing, really well done. However it is too dark and depressing.
On the other hand Luxon territory is nice and sunny and the Jade Sea is spectacular. However the landscape is just what we saw in Guild Wars Prohecies Pre-Searing (not talking abt the Jade Sea)
Both has pros and cons. I like the weapons/shields/etc found on Kurzik side more, Gothic and dark sryle is awesome. Just it gets too dark sometimes if you know what I mean.
EDIT: I often found it hard to navigate on the Kurzik map because it was black and dark grey tone..can't spot those corridors/paths very easily.
