I was wondering if anyone else has noticed that the gaming community has taken a turn for the worse?? Its getting so bad nowadays that i have to turn off my local...you are bombarded nonstop with the most ridiculous conversations and comments...i personally dont let it bother me but its starting to cross over into the gameplay...more and more im getting these clowns on my teams and seem to be everywhere i go...maybe im mistaken but when i first started playing i didnt see a large group of misfits in town or in mission..and ill tell you another thing the skill level of these players is pathetic....ofcourse this is just my opinion :)
so what do you guys thing?

Trade??...no i said local chat..hell i dont mind the trade channel i like to see what things are goin for...i just dont enjoy having my screen loaded up with morons going back and forth at eachother...i think it was 2 days ago i couldnt find one district in TOA without some tools yelling and screaming about some useless crap 8 districts no peace of mind...what is this world coming to?? lmao

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing too. I've really noticed myself starting to play with henchies more... they seem to be much more reliable... they don't talk back, curse ('cept maybe the Necro... get it?). I also hang with my guild a ton these days. Just takes the hassle out of the less mature players in the game.

Well there are some.
I can't say about US district but english seems ok normally.
In int I never saw flaming yet (not much populated either so that helps).
I have to say, coming from WoW this is a very friendly community.
Will make a nicer sig when I think of something ^^

I hardly ever take random groups, only ever henchs or guildies
i know what you mean with the pathetic conversations and rnadom people shouting at each other in ToA, it happens alot in the great temple of balthazar, it gets ridiculous i hardly ever have local chat on anymore.

Yeah...the Grotto has gotten much worse over the last 5 months or so. It used to be so much fun. =(
I actually havent been playing much lately, and when I do play, I'm usually outside with henchies or my account is AFK somewhere.
If you want a town that isnt totally trashed, try Maguuma Stade.

alright, i'm talking from the perspective of a person who has not finished the game yet, one level 20 char, etc etc.....however i've had to join a ton of groups and have only done one mission so far with only henchies and that was thunderhead keep (which sucks with real real people by the way, one or two always quit)....other than that i've always been able to find a good group. which i think says alot for the people playing the game. i'm very happy to have found a game where enough of a percentage of the people playing are into it that i haven't noticed the douches i'm sure are out there . (yet)

give it time bliss...i say another few months you will be starting your own post on this very conversation lmao...but you are right there are many good people out there playing...this was to say that i see a growing trend..and you better believe it will only get worse
