do custom skins and models need to be enabled on a server to work?

is it just me or have all the stats enabled servers dissapeared?? i wanna watch my progress but there are no servers on any game type (that aren't passworded) that are stats enabled

The Fractionary, a public TDM server (64.237.35.119:7777) has its own stats which you can check from here:
http://www.clanlob.com/utstats/

but watch out, this server will have some stiff competition for a new player

Well as far as I know it Alot of our player friends past clan members and current use custom skins. We do not have them on our server however in order to see a players custom skin on the fly you'd need to have the file in your UT directory. But a server could also have skins in the server directory for dl on connection from what I understand. :)

Cheers moyer, will give it a go, thanks for the warning, i'm use to dying a lot! btw, you seem well travelled in the world of unreal, d'u have any tips on staying alive?? =P
i can kill well but not live well....u'd think they go hand in hand. haha, any help would be much appreciated, thanks =)

well for stayin alive tht has to come wiv practise... cus obviously if u enter combat ur guna die, if u dnt ur not guna kill soo... practise makes perfect...but remember no-ones perfect lol
