Hill Giants have a good rune drop rate, even better than Ettins. The thing is, you must run for like 10 minutes just to get there and there is only about 10. I was getting ran through a mission and decided to kil some Hill Giants. After I've killed about 3, I got 1 Rare Giant's Boot and 2 Purple Giant's Boot. I got Superior Healing, Major Vigor and Minor Strength.

There's only 2-3 at Sanctum Cay, I've found a better place.

For your infomation, thats place has been nerfed many times in the. But because I think everyoen dumped it and it became good again since no1 farms there, till it'l be nerfed again -_-

Or you can do the Villany of Galrath and there are a few hill giants in that area.

Previous poster is correct, it's in the Galrath Quest just east of the final battle there.
It's been done before and the drop rate isn't significantly better than the Ettins. In fact because of the time to get there and you must go in and out the same gateway it's not worth the effort.
The anti farming code kicks in fairly quickly because of the one gate.

Heck this is a old as Gw is, they've been nerfed soo much, remeber the mission Sanctum Cay ? Where those fire imps life near the vizier, well there used to be hill giants there.

yea, the ones I found were in riverside providence. just at the end. Like 10 of them... takes a long time to get there though .. bah

6 or more at the one place near the wizards toward. There around the corner..... when your doing that 4000 exp quest killing the white mantal dude. quest is someting about the vinnilla? Sorry for the spelling
Proabley the same distacne when running the misson..... ran a few time and gotting crap. i just the us IDS build.. seems to work ok

i think those are sand gaints..... there ton more of them in that arid sea and 6 to 9 more out side of the dunes of dispare misson near the wap/zone to the arid sea (so you can rezone and farm them all day long)

Hill Giants can be found in D'Alessio Seabord, Majesty's Rest, Riverside Rpovince and Sanctum Cay. Kessex Peak (Villainy of Galrath) has by far the largest amount of Hill Giants in one place.
