The 24 hour preview will not include the 2 additional slots for character creation. Those are only linked to the retail account.
You will however be able to cross-over any ascended characters.
so it looks like i'll be doing that since i just filled my fourth slot thinking i would have the 2 extra slots :/

I'm confused by your post lol. You do get 2 extra slots when you actually purchase the game you know..and the fations preview event ended..

The pre-release gives you 24 hour head start on the game. But you can't get additional slots until the game is out. So he has to play with one of his 4 characters ahead of time before he can make a new one.
Can I get a PC?
No! Buy your own damn personal computer, dammit!

Indeed, if you got the pre-order, then you get access to the game 24 hours in advance. And I see the problem you are having, and its only 24 hours, so just take your asceneded characters over to Cantia and have fun. ^^

I'm a bit disappointed by that too. The main thing I want to do is use the new professions, so if your not gonna give me all my character slots, why give me anything in advance?
It's not gonna be a problem for me, as I have 1 open slot between my two accounts, but I know what you're sayin.

yeah i will i am not REALLY P.O'ed buti wanted my first steps on the new continent to be a brand new fella. :)

man... guild wars faction is gonna be amazing! thatswhy i orderd the collector's edition at a multimedia shop in town. now i did heard that the CE has no divine aura etc. but that the special edition would have it, could anyone tell me if its true?
