Recently my internet went down for a few days (reasons unknown most likely the provider) now before it went down i could connect to the game in a matter of seconds. My web service was back up on saturday and i immediately tried to connect to Villians but it would just say connecting #1 for about five minutes. I didnt pay too much attention to it but now i tried to play today and it just keeps saying connecting, right now im on connection attempt#12. This is really starting to bug me because all my other online games work fine its just Villains/heros that is acting up
Questions:
1) Is it the game or my computer?
2) What can i do to resolve this problem?

It could be a routing problem at the ISP or something on your PC that is a little flakey.
Try going to a command prompt, (start -> run -> cmd). Type in "IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS" at the C prompt. Exit the command prompt by typing EXIT. Try CoV/H and see if that helped. Otherwise, you might want to submit a ticket to NCSoft support, there was a similar issue to this a while back that was semi-easily fixed, I just don't remember exactly how.

The command promp idea didnt work it still refuses to connect. I'll send a message to support and post the solution (if i get one) for future refrence also i gave you a ten for the quick response and the advice.

it was with me *whines*
someone had to send me a bunch of ziped Piggs and other City of hero's Files from their system to my incompleat one then i pasted them over mine
but umm, well?, *pouts* i need that again, the computer died and now the updater is makeing me wait for like 40+ hours again, *pouts*, it's not fair I'm on cable dang it
anyways, I know one thing and no it's not really a plame or rant...NCsoft will not help you on your connection, they will only help if it is a wide and I mean really super wide downage at their servers locations, between yours and theirs is the waistland, tred safelly and bewear of bunnies

Ive had this problem since i7. I have even started saving to compltly revamp this pc... Its way to pricy for just one game...
