Rune of Superior Vigor

I have 3 characters so far: W/Me, E/Me and Mo/N.

My warrior already has a sup vigor rune, and I have another one in storage. The question is, do I put it on my monk or my ele?

Suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated :-)

Personally, I'd sell it, buy two Majors (9 hp difference between Major and Superior), and use the rest of the money for something else. It never made sense to me to pay fantastic amounts of money for that itty-bitty edge.

I personally would sell it off. You would get a nice profit and you could buy some new weps(thats what id do.) But if u really wanna keep/use it put it on the monk higher health never hurt a monk.

agree entirely, sup vig's arent worth the money to me, actually, neither is sup abs for my tank... nice... but worth it? not in my book. I am hoping that after factions opens, new armors will drive the price back up, i still have 2 vogors and an absorb to sell :S

I find they are very nice to have. They can help out if you have a sup rune taking 75 health away. The thing is though they are pretty costly. Since you have one I would use it on the monk but do go spending on them. When i wanted one I just farmed ettins till i got one.

I'll tell you one thing, those overpriced runes are way more worth it than 15k and fissure armor that people for some reason go nuts over. I may even be interested in 1-2 sup vigor runes and a sup absorbtion rune. However, I was planning on buying them after I buy the new skills from factions. I can get you nice weapons (max bonus weapons, not greens) if you want to trade. But we're not in the trade/auction forum, so if your interested, just PM me.

But back to your question...
Who to put it on? Simple. Whatever one you play more.

It depends, if you want to make one of your characters pvp ready, then I suggest placing it on that character, that's just one less thing you'll have to worry about in making a PvE toon PvP ready. If you don't want to bring either into PvP then I would put it on the character that you use more.

As for selling it...what's the point? So you can use the money to buy more overpriced items? 9 hit points does matter at times, but mostly in PvP, I can recall many occasions where I've held on for dear life at 4 or 5 hp, just long enough until the monk could heal me. In that case those 9 hp would've been the difference between me being dead or alive.

Even a little bit can go a long way. Sup Vigors are my lifesaver many times, I have one on my warrior and on my Monk. Monk is first target so he needs all the help he can get. And Sup Absorbtion is useful too. I can remember way back when, I tanked for Sorrow's Furnace. And I would constantly get 1 damage from 20 enemies or so. That adds up to about 20 damage per second. And I had a Major Absorption. Then I got Sup Absorb from a drop and applied it. Now I can tank those same enemies without a single heal.

Go with the monk.. Unless of course It's a 55 monk. Monks just have more uses the an ele.

I'd put it on ELE, monks can heal themselves, this would give your ELE a bit more endurance.

Monk because they get attacked alot more so they need more health to live.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm going to put it on my monk, because as you all said, extra health never hurt a monk (except for the 55 one).

Plus, I did lose my major vig while salvaging the old armour..*scowls*

elite armour is worth way more than standard armour and has no bonus' so i but sup vigor if i can, many timesi have been left with 1-6 hp when a monk then heals me and allows me to continue the fight,

especially since they are like 12k now

i would but it on ele, as when you monk you always see your health so youcna watch over it and hea aproperly, but as ele your main gaol is t odeal dmg,dying aint so big as long as you deal a ton of dmg and take some of them down with youl.so they may need that bit more.

2. get 150 hp enhant to chest.

This is a REALLLY old topic so these runes were worth more back then, but Valor, are you sure you weren't playin WoW? Because level 70 is impossible to get to in Guild Wars...
