Are you just starting a new warrior on your account? Never played a monk before? Then read the following and think before you speak:
FROM A MONK'S POINT OF VIEW:
1) With 4-8 players on the team, monks need to prioritize healing and juggle damage. In general, monks tend to prioritize, from most important to least important: Self, other monks, Minion Masters, Casters, Rangers, Warriors. As you can see, Warriors are the lowest priority target. What does this mean?
2) Keep yourself alive. Warriors have the highest generic armor level in the game, meaning you can endure a huge beating. You are, therefore, the tank for the party 99% of the time. Feel free to throw in an attack or two, but your priority isn't to deal damage, it's to soak up those hits so that the less heavily armored members of your group don't have to. The moral: EQUIP SKILLS THAT WILL KEEP YOU ALIVE.
3) DON'T GIVE CHASE if you want any healing at all. Ever. In general, warriors are right up next to enemies, while casters stand at the edge of the fray. Monks are even further back in order to avoid being targeted. In other words, if the enemy starts moving AWAY from the monks, DON'T FOLLOW. If you are in danger of dying, the monk will either A) write you off as a lost cause and prioritize other party members or B) be forced to run in after you and likely get killed in the process.
4) Don't bash the monks. If you feel they aren't doing a good job healing, don't freak out. Be polite, because, to be completely honest, you don't want them to leave. Monks are doing everyone a service by playing support rather than fighting for themselves, so be sure to appreciate it.
5) Enjoy the game. Above all, enjoy the game, and make sure others enjoy it too. Being a jerk, spamming profanities, or drawing obscene pictures on the map is a good way to find yourself dead in a mob without resurrection.

hehe, a tactic i have had to use a time or two to get their attention :P
good advice, and advice I give to new warriors as well, roughly... dont foget to add, DON'T advance to the next battle untill you have verified energy of the monk and casters. and fall back if enemies have passed you and gotten to the back row.

This doesn't only count for monks.
Monks also need others to do damage and to take damage, so it works both ways.
Will make a nicer sig when I think of something ^^

Another good bit of advie is, learn what Elite Skills there are & where to get them, especially for Glads Defence, saves you having to do the mission twice to get it.
