i have been thinkin of a stalker called Agent Darkwind and he will be MA/SR. I wont him to be a monster at PvP, so i picked MA for the disorient, and SR cuz it looks cool. So i am also goin for the pool powers, fitness (of course), stealth, and hasten/ss. I will stack stealth, ss, and hide, and be awesome at stealth. My main focus will be PvP, and i will only get 5 MA powers, these are Crane kick, cobra strike, AS, placate, and Eagle Claw. I will get almost all of the SR powers and the previously mentioned pool powers
Is this a good idea

I'm not sure if stalker MA is the same as Scrapper MA, but if it is I advicse getting Thunder kick too as part of your chain. It doesn't do much damage but has a chance to disorient and fills out the attack chain nicely.
With /SR you're going to need stamina for all the toggles and for it to be effective nearly all the passives and toggle defensives. +DEF is seriously nerfed in PVP right now (until you get elude) because Aim+Build up can overcome it. Same for anyone using tactics or any other to-hit buff.
The problem with stalker is they are not as sturdy as scrapper, so you'll be highly reliant on your Stuns landing, because if they dont the person will either jump/fly away or hold/stun you right back.
Most PVP stalkers go for spines for the immobilize and massive damage or energy melee because it does even more damage than spines due to most people only having lethal/smash resist.
The one thing any stalker has going for it is AS dropping 2 toggles. Often your best offense will be to open with either a high damage or a status effect (immobilize being best since not all status protection skills guard against it) then following up with placate/AS.
Just my info since I don't play a stalker, but that's what has always gotten me. I find stalkers that try to scrap with me (as an MA sort of would since its not a high damage AT) normally fail.

If u want a good stalker power mainly for PvP u should choose energy melle.
U get AS (obviously) but u get energy transfer at a lowish level so u can use it in sirens call and warburg.

I would agree with what everyone said. If you are looking for a PvP Stalker, you may want to visit Spines or Energy. The MA build is highly resisted due to the smashing damage. Energy and Spines have the least resisted and provides more of a fighting chance in PvP.

bah you will be fine with what ever Stalker primary you choose..
make sure you choose Focus Chi(build-up for MA) with your stalker..
/SR I have all 9 of em and have been thinking of dropping Evasion but the rest cant live without em..
Stealth I dont have it and do just fine really.. but I am going to be respecin into it..
Hasten I suggest this power for placate
Stamina is not really needed for PvP but golly gee I needed it for PvE
eh just my 2cp

I have made nearly all the stalkers(40 nb/nin, 40 em/ea, 38 claw/sr, 12 spine/regen, 14 ma/nin), just b/c yes i am that gay and i love their AS plus the element of knowing if i am good at using them i am unstopable vice versa. MA i think is best paired with ninjitsu or sr. Because of the already stated lack of power in it. But what you do pickup is the disorient and immobilize in an attack and the -acc. I am currently working on my 5th stalker he is a MA/Nin stalker and i am having a blast with him. I plan on taking in blinding powder and debating on smoke bomb. I def think the more you can keep people off that AT the better you are. I think crippling kick will be a def skill i keep just for the -fly and immobilize. It has another - attack in it but those are the main ones i look forward to using in pvp. Taking in ninjitsu with the ma makes the build a really technical one. I don't think MA is meant as a novice users AT to use. B/c you obviously don't have the power of a EA or NB.

Hey, Unwelcome to the site Haven2101. We hope you'll enjoy your stay with us.
MA has it's advantages, crippling axe kick for the -fly, cobra strike for disorient and eagle's claw for increased crit strike. It even does a fair amount of damage, but the recharge is a little slower than the others.
I just enjoy claws IMO at this moment...have a claws and started a MA...claws got me through missions a little quicker.

Oh my lvl 38 claws is a blast too, when i am fighting crowds of people. Another AT not meant for people new to the stalker type. That at is def meant for someone who is constantly changing their position. I find that i am constantly looking for the optimum angle when i throw my shockwave and then follow it up with eviserate. In order to keep the enemy as clumped as possible. The claw AT is by far the crowd control out of all of them. Anyone who enjoys fighting in big groups will love this AT b/c you get to hit multiple targets constantly. However pvp, it is probably the worst at for its lack of damage it can deal. I am looking forward to seeing what changes make to it in i7. I was playing with my MA the last couple days and had the chance to notice it was -fly -speed imobilize... i ask how can you not pick up this skill. The thought of not getting it makes me cringe. My MA/NIN is 21 now and he is running mission fine, debating on the whole cobra strke still, trying to pick and choose which skills i want to drop for fitness pool. I def, think this will be my most technical fighting stalker yet. With all the skills he has that cripple a person between MA and NIN it should be interesting. Thanks for the welcome bishop
