Where is Caerbannog? I know his signature says he is away on business, but it has said that for like 2 weeks! He posted a message a few days after he disappeared, but I haven't seen him since. Does he not like us anymore? The forums aren't the same without him :( That or GameAmp needs to pay him more (hehe) so he doesn't have to go away on business, unless it's for GameAmp.
I actually have a real reason for looking for him (besides missing his posts). I am still having problems posting screenshots and am looking for some technical help. :(

Yeah, I'm still having trouble submitting screenshots as well. I think he is due back this weekend, he did say he would be gone for about 2 weeks on business. Worry not fair lady, he shall return to us soon.

yeah he said it would be a couple of weeks that he would be gone, i know he posted a couple of times while he was out of town but hasn't had much time to do so....... i also figure he would need a day or two after he gets back b/f we see him again... i know i would after being gone from home for 2 weeks, got to settle back in, and get back into the swing of thing......
let me ask the powers that be again about the screenshots (nogame has been really busy at work lately and hasn't had much of a chance to get on here either)... but i'll submit a bug report (again) and see if that gets us anywhere

No :( I'm still getting the same screen (with the approval box). I've tried submiting to both the general gallery and the contest one. Argh!
You're right though. I can't wait to submit to the contest. I'll be ok if I can't *sigh* but I still want to ;)

Greets all!
Caer regrets that he has been delayed in getting back home, and I and everyone else here wish he would hurry the heck back here and sit in his comfy chair in front of his 'puter. That's the drag about a family-owned business... it requires all of your waking hours at times. I'm expecting him home Sunday night, and I'll make him type something soon :).

well, we want you to be able to submit to the contest, you've been here a long while and well i'm sure you have a ton of funny screenshots just waiting to be posted.... nogame said he was looking into it, but i have not heard anything back from him on it yet (which was why i was hoping it had been fixed)
i wish i knew more about comps to be able to help you w/ this problem, but i'm afraid it is just out of my league... i will post another bug report to this matter and see if we can get this fixed and if you could copy the error message and post it here it would help a lot

Actually if GameAmp payed me a buck a year it would be more than they pay me now lol.
But in any case I am back. Got back last night actually after a trip that was extented longer than I thought it would be. Glad someone noticed I was gone though hehe.
Umm..will take me awhile to get back up to speed though. Was Nogame able to help you out?

Nogame and I are working on it, though it is looking pretty grim. Anyhow, I have another issue. This one is even harder to pin down. Occasionally, other users' posts come up as being rated 0. This really annoys me when I want to rate them as something other than 0.
Maybe the real problem, or another separate one, is when I click the "Add Reply" button, the page refreshes and does not go to the posting page (where you fill out the form to post a message).
I will keep an eye on this, so when the page refreshing happens, I will check the posts on the page and see if there are any out of place 0 ratings, but thought I would log it in case someone else is having the same weird issues.
BTW - Welcome Back, Caerbannog! You were missed. :) I figured they weren't paying you anything. Guess I should have made my (hehe) more explicit. Obviously your contributions are missed when you aren't here. They should pay you more! Send me a PO Box address and I'll send you a dollar myself :)

Naah I was just hoping to get some folks to all do a mass PMing campaign to Nogame about paying me lol. I actually did get a crisp brand new dollar bill in the mail today as a promotion to participate in a JD Powers Survey so that was ironic

The business trip was in connection with a family owned business so that has to take priority. Was gone longer than I thought/hoped I would be though.
BTW what browser/version are you using? Trying to figure out some of the odd anomalies we have been seeing.

Hmmm. So they don't pay you for all of the work that you do. I have to imagine that it is somehow rewarding. *puts herself in the place of running this crazy site* Nope, I don't think I'd do it for no money. Though, I am a Girl Scout Leader, so don't get me wrong. I understand the volunteering concept. Oh, I bet this looks great on a resume or helps you build skills that you might otherwise not have or practice. *ponders other reasons you might do this* Maybe you're related to the GameAmp people. Nah. Hmm... I think I'd ask them for the dollar raise.

Dang! Well there goes that theory huh? hehe. I have a couple little oddities myself, but nothing so severe as yours. I can't change my birthdate in my profile, my password never stays remembered no matter how many times I check the box, but for the most part no problems.
As for the volunteering part. Two reasons I guess. First I have known Nogame for awhile and have gamed with him in his guilds etc. and would like to help him get this site growing. Second I used to do some Sysoping on BBS as well as some teaching and I think I just like to try to do what I can to pass on what I know.
