anet keeping track if our farming?

I was doing the grawl farm today and i got a light blue message that said "You have been playing for 14 hours. Please take a break."

not but 2 seconds later i got one of thoes tip windows pop up and it said "Killing the same monsters....." i didnt get to read the rest because i was trying to pick up my stuff befor i died and closed out of it.

are they keeping a closer eye now on how long people have been farming and do they plan on changing any drops for the time you have spend farming in that area?

The game time playing thing could just be a means to combat game addiction..but yes they do keep track of farming and farming areas to make sure that a particular area isnt bot farmed. ANet doesnt care if you farm greens 24/7 provided that it's impossible to do it while using a bot.

On the other hand they have a duty to preserve the GW economy so it is possible that the more people farm an area the less drops there will be. That way they can preserve the delicate (very very delicate mind you) balance between farmers and non-farmers.

i figured they were keeping track of farming from the beginning but now it just seems they have added a whole nother level to this, like i said i even got a tip window about it, i am going to keep trying and see if i get it again ill let you know exactly what it said

bots have always been my issue, i am glad they are keeping a closer watch on it

btw Travis /age 1,217 hours 56min over 7 months and this is my second account that i dont play as often

cool i wasnt implying anything its just i couldnt go playing 14hrs at a time. the most i play is probs 6 hrs at a time.

now that is some gaming action, as much as i play i dont think 50+ hours i could do, my back would be all messed up and deffinatly not in a cafe

whoa!! did you play 14 hours straight amazing. The most I played is probably 4 to 5 hours straight that is during weekend if I have nothing to do and bored.

Do you even have time to do homework or work etc.. blah..

yeah, im a college student but i only work 3 nights a week, im residing in syracuse NY just for this year and for some reason i cant get any work, i have no record and i have a ny address but i dont know, nobody will hire me so i stay home and play gw
