ok, so as i am doing my grawl run as i posted befor but this time i got a screen shot of the message
Because you've beeen repeatedly killing just the
first few monsters at the start of the map, thoes
monsters are starting to run low on loot. You can
just play through maps normally a few times and
everything will return to normal.
now i have a few questions if anyone has already tested these i would like to know and if not i will get back to you shortly and let you know if it works.
(1) The way this is worded it doesnt state that specific map so if i did a quest or even ran through a mission quickly a few times would it turn it back to normal or does it have to be "this" map that im on?
(2) Since it does not specify the character that must be played normally could i switch characters and run around a few quests or mission ect?
(3) Does this mean even if i switch characters and farm somewhere else would i have the same effect (not getting any drops)?
(4) Is this a world wide effect for that character or my accout?
now #3 is most likely a no but i will try that first because if nothing happens to the drops there wont be any effect and i will try something else, if anybody has tried any of this yet plz let me know it would save some time ty

If u switch carrecters problem is solved instantly i think

it says | QUOTE | Because you've beeen repeatedly killing just the first few monsters at the start of the map, thoes monsters are starting to run low on loot. You can just play through maps normally a few times and everything will return to normal. |
so if u read between the lines it depends on "same type of monsters of that map" so if u go somewhere else it will chance the map in result u get drops
| QUOTE | | (4) Is this a world wide effect for that character or my accout? |
just for ur account not world wide... (that would seriously mess things up)

Yeah, nothing new here. They did that to combat botters who farm areas 24/7. If you get that message, just go do a mission or something.
But I have heard that there are 3 places that don't set off that message. Fissure of Woe, Underworld, and Sorrow's Furnace.

well woe, uw, and sf anet/ncsoft doesnt mind people farming because its a 20-min run depending on what you do and how long u realy want to be down there. i will admit i havent farmed in a very long time, i have been stuck in hoh and gvg for a while but befor that i peeked my warrior at 3.2mill exp just from solo farming and i had never seen the msg i just asumed it came out when the new "you have been playing for x hours plz take a break" msg

If you never saw it before soloing, perhaps it was because you were running past the first few monsters in the area, and killing lots more stuff around.
If you went out of Augury, killed the Devourer and then mapped back in, and out. You would get it. If you ran past the first 5 mobs to the Griffons, you wouldn't get the message, but the 'Farming Flag' would still be effective.
Now unless you just farming, farming, farming, and you actually want to increase the chances of finding Golds, then alternate you farm area, do a quest or mission between runs, and you'll prevent the 'Farm Flag' being added to your character.
