Depends on the armor really.. this is my monks collectors armor using silver/silver/silver/yellow, others have used silver and dye remover to achieve similar results:
But as I said earlier it all depends on the armor you are trying to dye.

another one I heard is
silver + dye remover + silver
Not sure how it works though. also it all depends on what armor you are putting it on :)

Indeed, they all look different on all the armors.
For my Knights armor, I used One Dye rmeover into 3 SIlver. For my Monk's Fissure, I used 3 Dye Remover into 1 Silver.

You will most likely need a variation of the Silver and Yellow mix. As any dye remover on there makes the purple show up, or it has everytime I tried the Silver and Dye Remover mix.

Heres my Bonelace armor with the 3xsilver+yellow combination - I really like it, it's a nice pale mold green which suits my Necro well.

I've used variations of the above. All depends. For ranger silver+silver+silver+dye remover is the key.(remember to mix silver+dye remover first or all you get just silver :D ) I know I had it for a long time until it was copied repeatedly by every other ranger. So I switched to light blue.
Anyway for any with the right necro. Yellow+silver+silver+silver will turn out like this.

Just to clarify something up, when you say Yellow + Silver, does that mean:
1. Double clicking the yellow and adding it to silver
2. Double clicking the silver and adding it to yellow
I assume doing it one way will produce something different than the other.

i think that doesnt matter...it is addition, and as we know from math, when you are adding something the sides can be switched, will have same result.
