| hey are clean max weapon with +15 while enchanted a good weapon??? |

ok this guy told me " dont buy stuff just becuz its gold" so i was like " u noob son " then i found out today that i was the noob.. yea lol. so anyway is it better to get a purple clean max dmg weapon with +15 ^50 or while enchanted and just put like sundering and +health mods in it??? or is it better to buy gold weapons that have sucky mods???
o ya i hav another question 2!... ok lets say theres this "WHITE clean max dmg sword and theres this "BLUE clean max dmg sword and PURPLE max clean dmg sword and GOLD clean max dmg sword... sooo... then lets say i have a +health 30 mod and i put it on the " WHITE sword" will it be weak because its not gold or purple??? or lets say i put the +health mod on the "GOLD sword" will it rock??? i just want to kno the diffrences... if u kno wat i mean..

dont waste time on modding weapons its better to sell them at it is.Ur gonna waste more money on buying the mods then selling the sword.

Each color of weapons indicates the POTENTIAL for that weapon to be perfect.
White weapons have no potential.
Purple weapons have potential, but cannot be perfect. The max damage mod for purple is either 12^50 or 13^50.
Gold weapons have the potential to be perfect. But they won't always be good mods. It's possible for a Gold weapon to have 10^50.
The colors of any weapon shouldn't be a deciding factor in the weapons value.

Just to add a small piece of trivia, on occasion purple weapons can have 1 perfect mod..just not a perfect inherent mod.
As for what makes a good weapon..that's up to you to decide. Does having +29 health mod vs a +30 health mod make you a worse player? Not really. It doesnt make you a better player either. It'll just give you a small edge. Does having a white weapon vs a gold weapon make you a worse player? Nope. You just have a slight advantage that's all.
Alot of people see ingame wealth or perfect mods as a sign of ability.. this isnt the case at all. If you are bad with a character then no perfect weapon is going to make you better and if you are good with a character then having a white weapon wont make you play any worse.
In fact i have several collector staffs and they are blue.. i dont care if i cant show them off and if people call me a noob for having them.

Oh woops.. depending on what your doing u have to change your skills because you might go w/ ecnhanted or w/ stance.... so it's good to have one of each or all.

So agree with you on that one, if I'm with a group and they start with the 'I'm Yielding a Oswalds superduper thingy of ubersville' I love ctrl clicking on my modded blue collectors staff 'I'm wielding an insiteful wicked staff of enchanting', nobody has yet to call me a noob for it - but I wouldn't care if they did, its 20/20 and modded exactly how I want it for my curses build - worth more to me over any green I've yet to see :-) I say show them off with pride Nihil, means youv'e thought about exactly what your needs are

geek i should buy you a nice green curses staff i saw for fairly cheep, it as perty and the same stats as the collectors

Thanks zirgey thats very generous of you and I am honoured by the thought :-) I like my collectors staff though because its taken me quite a while to get it where I want, theres a sense of achievement with it. Its not quite perfectly modded but when it is I'll be a very happy man and I totaly love the skin.
