35. Even if they change to white when you look at them, they were originally black and they remain black...we only see them as white

Wammos are there in GW? Five zillion and two...
Oh wait, black dots.
That's funny, I see two opposites here.

Unfortunately for Nihil, cswella is right, load the image in Photoshop and hit one of those dots with the 'Eyedropper Tool', you'll see your color is set to white.
They are white, but besides the center of your view they are distorted and seem like black, so there are no black dots really.

Think you might be wrong there, I suggest there are in fact no black dots. I zoomed in with my browser (Opera) to 1000%, this stopped any optical illusion, the centre of each circle is slightly off-white but definately not black.

Yeah well you all cheated :P You know normally these illusions are given on paper so you cant actually use graphics programs to see what colors there are :P

Put your hand over the screen and cut off all but a corner, then the illusion vanishes and you see the one white dot. :P

Well that's the thing..you dont know whether that's the illusion itself or if it's meant to be white. It's like the trick where you put 3 colors next to each other and the middle color changes. It has something to do with the eye being unable to process all 3 colors at the same time so it changes the middle color to that color plus the shades of the other 2..or something along those lines..it's been a while since i had to know about that..highschool art class i believe is where i learned it.

This illusion comes from intersecting lines in your brain being processed in a particular way. If you isolate only one intersection, the colors stop *flashing* for lack of a better word. You are then left with a simple black square with grey lines meeting at a white dot in the middle.
