| Vampire Quest Chest Rewards |

Man, I was running this last night - and wound up running it several times to see what would pop out of the chests next. :) So far, we've found a cloak that is a Ranger's or Rogue's dream cloak ( Cloak of Shadows: +7 Spot, +7 Move Silent, +7 Hide ), one of the best trinkets in the game ( Shard of the Silver Flame - perm. Protection from Evil ), awseome platemail ( Blood Plate - +2, Deathblock ) - and a bow whoese properties & name I don't remember because I've not personally been awarded it yet.
Also, the vampire is not hard if you have a solid plan to take him down.

4-0 on the vampire. He is annoying but beatable.
Silver Bow
D10 Dmg, Keen, Holy +2 Longbow, proud owner myself. Lvl 6 to equip
Cloak of shadows is +2 deflection to AC and +7 Hide/+7 Move silently I think. I have one, it does not add to spot. Lvl 9 to equip.
Blood Plate +2 Deathblock.
The trinket is very nice pro evil on that encounter ftw. About a 50% drop rate per module.
We pulled other nice items out, and the reward from the Inquisitor isn't half bad. I got a +2 con lesser false life belt for my paladin.
I like this encounter. Very well done, but annoying to say the least.

Some day I'll see this guy. I know I have a better chance playing the the vampire than trying to play w/ the dragon.

Sanny is a barbarian yes?
Sadly, this is a difficult encounter in particular for melee types. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but my paladin did ok.
What aggrivates me is I got a bestow curse(curse spewing weapon) on the vampire and...

Yes, Sanny is a barb. So it isn't fun to melee this guy? It is going to be a long while before I get there (only level 4). And are you saying I cannot become "Sanny the Vampire Slayer"? Because that wouldn't be any fun at all.

lmao, Sanny the vampire slayer.. I laughed for like ten minutes as I re read this over and over again.
I am only lvl five tops right now but i have been playing to characters and both are melee types *shivers* I might not like this quest :(
p.s I am not going to allow that to stop me though :)

Geo Wizard: Lvl 50 Earth/Kin With Speed Boost and Stamina yay. Not to mention kick butt holds. Including Volcanic Gases, hehe. And now with his own moronic Animated Stone. And Transference!!! New and improved, 3 lvls in one day, adding to his arsenal Fulcrum Shift..oh yea. Can't wait to get some time under his belt now. I can now hurl Boulders....omfg no he didn't :) I look so pimp in my newest power...its brown and bumpy all over..can you guess?... Thats right is Stone Armor and it is kick butt. Fissure rocks my world! Fifty soon. Fifty on 12-10-2005 at 12:35am after 400hrs of hard labor Wanna throw a special shout out to Illusion Mastor, CBail, Mudpuppy, Jupiter Sweets, Dark Hollow, Lethal Fury, Pan, Majin Tank, Lotus of Death, and all the others i know I am forgetting for their help. And also to all the gameampers here at gameamp whom without I would never have made it.

Melee has it's uses in the quest, make no mistake. The clerics and the arcanes may shine here - but they'd be hosed without a good melee in there with them.
Every class has a role in nearly every quest. :)

It is good to hear there is a need for bait in this quest. I would hate to not have the chance to lay my life down for my team in front of a vamp.

I was trying to be generic, non spoilers.
Sanny will have fun, but a nigh unhitable target is no fun for a melee character.
Spellcasters shine in the end, but all classes are needed, even the bait.
