Cool Names

Well here is one out of left field

Connor Wraith was a name nicked from my Knights of the Old Republic 2 game, cause all the cool names i could think of were taken!!! hehe

So i got to wondering, what is your coolest name for a player on CoH???

And i do believe there should be a prize for the best name, perhaps the chance to game with the great Wraith hinself?? Or something better if anyone can think of something hehe

I have a super cool little Rad/Rad defender chick with green skin and a kick-butt green outfit named St. Patricia. I like her.

I also have a pretty sweet Ice/Ice blaster chick named Jackie Frost (she's on my profile, and you deserve to see her). She kinda rocks too.

"Arctica" is my Ice/Kinetics controller
"Tamalie" is my Fire/Fire tank.
"Queen Tut" is my Fire/Fire blaster who looks rad in her Egyptian headdress.

I'm pretty fond of most of my names. hehe

I think the prize idea is a pretty good one. I'm down. :)

I think most of my characters names are cool.

My favorite name is, of course, Ion Paragon, cause he is a rad defender whose got his ion you. And Sheriff Gravity, policing the laws of physics, is another of my favorite names.

The Dreary Hedgehog is another one I like, he is a spines/dark scrapper whose a wannabe goth mutant.

Turbo Tortoise is another one I like alot.

I think just about all the names in my signature are pretty cool.

I have received many compliments on the names of my heroes; Lawsuit (she is dressed as a lawyer) , To Serve Man (my alien hero,some of you will get that) & my CoV villain Funeral Director (MM that controls zombies with old horror movie star names) Zombies,movie stars... Funeral Director...get it? :)

Well, I dunno. There is some really really really really powerful stuff in this universe, and most heroes can't offer anything nearly powerful enough. And they shouldn't because if Gravity Control were as strong as real gravity is, they would have an advantage like a million times over the rest of the builds. Anyway, I like to name my character something physicsish, i.e. Singularity, Event Horiz0n, Neutrino, SuperString, that kind of thing.

First off, gonna welcome my EU Shades team mate Connor to the forums and give him a little slap on the wrist.

All in good faith of course, but no prizes - stuff like that is arranged via the staffers on the CoH site, but everyone's playing fair and cool anyways so I'll let ya off ya great n00b.

As for names

Firespray - taken from the Firespray patrol class cruiser in the Star Wars universe - more commonly known as Jango and Boba Fetts ship - Slave 1

I wanted Fireball but it was taken so I messed around with Fire names and that one I liked and it was free - apart from on the US servers.... someone out there has 'my' name!

Flat Line - well I wanted something for an empath defender and it just sounded different.

Little Rock - stone stone tank 4 feet tall - you work out how I got the name!! The name actually came first, well I wanted a new alt to play and I didnt have a tank and I left it a few days and just kinda came back to it once I had the name.

Thuggernaut - can't have Juggernaut on a brute and my CoV main was just that, an unstoppable thug. Fortunately it stuck.

Anyways Im heading back to bed now as I am pretty unwell at the moment. Catch you all later...

The best names i have ever seen are villains: Big tobacco (his battlecry was "hook 'em young!") Raging alcoholic, and small business (his was "ill give u the business!")
The best name i have made for myself was a clown-themed scrapper named "Expozo" (he was instantly deleted)

I take pride in the names of all my guys, look at my sig!

I wanna draw special attention to my scrapper, Prince of Jacob. He's based off of the Biblical Michael the archangel (he killed 185,000 syrian warriors in one night), who in the book of Daniel is refered to as "Israel's Prince". Well, when I first made him, many of the names I wanted to do wouldn't fit, i.e. "Prince of Israel" too up too many letters back then. Well, I found that "Jacob" is also another term for the nation of Israel and used it.

I still say that "spydoorman" and Wulferine97" are the best names out there though...

A storm defender named "Joe DeNardo" who's battle cry is "Partly cloudy in Paragon County"

Or how about a short, old-looking, sonic blaster named "Mayor Maszloff" (sp?)?

I created a tank on Triumph call "PennDoT Worker". He just stands around Atlas, telling other heroes what to do.

My name of my main... Anachron is the joining of 2 words "Anachronism" and "Chronology" in otherwords "Old School"... He is an Ice/SS Tank, with a Red Mohawk and 3 eyes.

The names that I've seen on the Champion Server that really got me laughing are:

Bread of wonder - A blaster covered with red, yellow and blue spots (Like Wonder bread)
