So is there stuff about the game that you aren't happy with? Well the dev's want to know! You can post them on this thread on the official forum. Codog, one of the dev's, is watching every post on that thread and is making notes for changes.
So go ahead and post away!

lol my biggest pet peeves is with the actual players. If only the dev of life could make them listin to a rogue.
The mistakes of today, are the scares of tomorrow.

I'd like to see some more content and solo content. Right now it seems I get with a group and run the same set of quests over and over. I like the mechanics but I would like more things to do and every now and then allow me to do it myself.
Of course D&D does not lend itself to solo play very well, some things you need a rogue or cleric for, etc. I'm sure they can come up with some way to solo.

Death seems like a pretty good penality. And there are quite a few traps that will do just that.

lol yeah but sometimes setting off the trap or whatever effects the entire party... Dont get me wrong people make mistakes and I dont mind the bail out, or waiting then. However sometimes you get the people that never listen. It's the times that someone says "dont do this because if you do that will happen" and right after the person runs and does it anyway and screws over the group because of it. My biggest pet peeve though is also that everyone runs the same quests over and over because they have good xp. I still probably haven't seen half of the content, not because I'm not high enough level, but because every party invite you get is WW, Shan To Kor, delera's, etc... The other day I did Freshen the Air for the first time ever, cool mission, very challanging the game has been out for almost two months and I have three characters in the level range or over. I almost wish the higher level, shorter missions, had better treasure tables so that people would have to choose between better items, or more xp and more slightly crappier items. heh i think I'll suggest that...

Most of my Pet Peeves are being adressed the longer the game is out... so I'm not as cynical about things as I was a little while ago.
However, my main pet-peeve is how limited the characters look. There is only a certain "set" looks you can acheive with the generator. Most humans look like they are all at the same family reunion, every third dwarf on the street is exactly the same ( white hair, braided beard, eye-patch ), and all halflings look nearly the same no matter if their male or female. And, the male elf choices are all terrible.
Each race needs to have two to three times the ammount of "facial detal" options.
More hairstyles that don't suck.
More variations for WF looks ( dents, corosion, metal fatigue )
dare I say it... tattoos?
I strive to make each of my characters look unique - and I am frustrated that either your character looks good - or like some irradiated freak so they can look unique.

Oh yeah - one more...
The Vault of the Night/Dragon quest *really* needs a static rewards list. Nothing to make it "on par" with the loot you get from the Dragon's Chests - but something better than it is now. A Wand of Magic Missle 9 is a major, major, major let-down after devoting that much time and energy into an epic quest. Even more so since it has a ready-made crew to base the rewards off of - The Laughing Knives.
I can't express how upset I was with that Wand of Magic Missles 9 - and one with only 23 charges on it, to boot.

I'll agree with you En that the rewards for the Dragon Quest could be upgraded but alas, they have added a 2nd dragon chest in (for random high level loot) to smooth us over.
After going at the dragon last night a few times they've definitely changed the encounter quite a bit and it may be a day or so before he starts going down again.

Challange is one way of putting it... murderously impossible is another. I think the devs way, way, WAY overreacted in their "fix". Taking down the pillars is now hard enough... hard, but possible. But what happens when you actually fight the dragon now is laughably unfair.*
* spoliers not listed so I dont ruin the encounter for others.

Awwww nothing is impossible. And that is good. Maybe people will be quiet about needing more content if they are all trying to get this guy dead.

I'm going to go on record as saying I think the devs are pissed off their dragon went down & they made it neigh impossible to beat. Maybe not 100% impossible - but damn near. They've pulled many of the "cheap" fixes in here that have marred some of the other quests they've adjusted. While I never wanted the dragon to be easy ( and he wasnt ), I also think the devs have overreacted in how they chose to tweak the final encounter.
My guild has some rather solid ideas on how to proceed, though. As they say, we learn even in failure. I know we'll take down Big Red again - it'll jsut take a while. And, it'll be all the sweeter when we do.

And I think that is what makes it all the better to be honest. I mean it is supposed to be a GREAT feat. And if it takes a dozen tries before you get it, it just means victory is so much better.

Being a 10 cleric and going with groups to do dragon is extremely expensive for wands, mana potions (saved just for dragon lol). The end reward stinks from chest and as end reward. I don't ever mind helping groups out (all guilds or potluck) but remember to donate a little to the cleric or sorcerer/wizard that spend a great deal to go with you with little thanks or reward at end of quest:)
The other thing I don't understand is being in middle of quest (whatever it is) and suddenly players "my guild calls I have to leave" if you accept a party, wouldn't the appropriate thing to do is at least finish the quest. Not to bail leaving everyone out in the cold. Do guilds really have that much control over players or is it an excuse? One really never knows.
Oh well, just my thoughts.

I really think that when people say this it is just an excuse. If it is any kind of good guild they would respect that the person was on a quest, and at least give them time to finish it. But it is the perfect excuse to get out of a team.

Was this a new server? It could be that they just haven't gotten around to listing it yet. I know that when we put up our server lists it was all the servers out at that time. Maybe they forgot to add it when they added the server?
