I pulled the initial notice directly from www.cityofheroes.com, the official COH/COV website.
I went to MMORPG.com to sign up. You DO need an MMORPG.com account for the free trial. I have been unable to activate my MMORPG.com account and get the free trial yet. So far it's taken more than 24 hours for the verification email to get to me. It's supposed to take 15 minutes. Don't know if MMORPG.com is having issues......

For me too...the activation e-mail has not been recieved...around 48 hours now. Is it becuz of the huge rush of users that are trying to sign up?!
