An Argument which needs to be solved

well me and my brother were arguing earlier today. And we got in an argument about wether age of mythology The Titans, or Guild Wars was better... i thought Guild Wars was much better. Now Reply with ur thoughts and prove to my brother guild wars is better

As im sure 99% of the members here would say GW is better and my personal reasoning why its better is because it just is ^_^

Those 2 games are a bit hard to compare.. They both have their ups and their downs but if you are looking for an online game then GW is better...you dont have the people that spend 24/7 playing the game and they'll beat you in a matter of minutes..well you do but they arent everywhere so in GW you still can win and do well in the game even if you rarely play it.

see best 2 games ever are *drum roll* Guild Wars and for FPS CS:Source (no question, i dont care what other games there are, i have halo/BF2 both for pc and CS:S is by far the hardest to master (gimmie a .50 sniper and try and fly past in a helecopter and try to keep your head not pierced) o0o double brackets)

The only gripe i have with FPSes is that alot of them allow for aim bots. I hate those things. Like i was playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein multiplayer before they forced a manditory anti-bot update on the game..and it was impossible. You would see people with 100% accuracy and 100+ kills because of those aimbots. It got to the point where you just didnt want to play the game anymore because you knew that you couldnt win unless you cheated with them.

Now that's all changed and it's all about the skill now. you still have people trying to use aimbots but usually the server admins see that they have a huge amount of kills, have never died, and have 100% accuracy.. that just sets off the red flag and their boot cannon.

well are you willing to put that to the test... if then name a time and server and ill be happy to prove you wrong (thou i havent played since november:( haevnt had the time). and if the helo fails ill bring an aircraft:)

live in europe so it has to be a time when i can get on, please

but for the original question i would say GW since i didn't like the age of mythology games

who would have thought that CPU and MOBO's could burn... or atleast they got toasted pretty good

Its like saying whats better between a harley and a ZZR race bike. Two totally differant things made for two diff styles of doing things.

So both are good in their own right but one will interest some more than others and it depends on the person.

AoM Titans can in no way whatsoever be compared to GW, the only thing they have in common is that they're games.

Both are great, none is better.

I would say that u can't compare GW the MMORPG with AoM-TT the Strategi Game.

But i will also say (of course) GW is absolutly the best.

Imho Final Fantasy VIII is still by distance the greatest game I ever played and tbh I highly doubt any game yet to come will ever be able to change that.

i agree that GW shouldn't be compared to AoM, but i still think GW is better. also, u should ask this question on a different website. (obviously people who post on a GW site like GW better!)

Guild wars tho i have no idea what Titans is lol my favorite games are MGS (ne1 of them even 2 (tho i hate Raiden)) Legend of Zelda u all kno which one (pssst its Ocaraina of time) and well Guild wars

i havent played BF2 since... oh man way back when i first got it...

i will totaly give you a shout when my gameing computer is working, right now i cant get on the web with it, and the compute im on now cant handle GW

you play CS:S? if so play on the KoW server, im apart of that clan, and the server rocks... and i love fresh meat to pwn :)

I have playing both.

If you have played AoM original and you are getting Between
Guild Wars Or AoM Titan , Get Guild Wars , because the stories of titan is so small just 1 new race , 1 story and making titans.

If you have played nothing of AoM , there are alot of stories to go through with AoM and AoM titans + custom maps and making ur own maps with creating map but there are a smaller community on AoM than Guild Wars in online.

Finally ;

If you like strategy same as some guys above said,
Get AoM Titans

If you like RP style with a large and great community get Guild Wars.
