Well yesterday and today I finally figured out how to do chat binds. I thought mine were so kick ass I've decided to share with everyone else my awesomeness in Chat Binds.
1. God's not here today, $target.
2. I know, $target, that you don't fear me... but give me a moment and I'll give you the reasons to.
Yeah, Red Scout is pimping the threats to the baddies yo! So what's your personal chat binds that you use? And is there a way to have the bind use all forms of broadcast instead of one specific chat, like Team Chat?

It's not really a bind but my battle cry for my main (Enforcer Gnome) is "GNOMERCY!" I'm pretty proud of it.

Use "say" or "s" for your channel and it will use the active channel.
One of my favorites is "t $target in sights!"
I use it when I see a Quantum, Embalmed, named boss, etc.

i ahd a kinda kewl one, but had to delete it becoz i have fat fingers and would hit it sending it across the wrong channel, and it got embarrassing... it went:
"ye as i walk into the valley of the shadow of death, i shall fear no evil. For i am the baddest mother *not saying this word here* in this valley, and i have brought friends."
Now i moved one to a more remote button ( ] ) and it goes:
"$target, if u can hear this, prepare to die."
Bovinus (the cow god) on triumph server had one where he would point and say "$target, u anger cow god" and another where he did the research emote and sed "cow god doth shine his countenance upon u"
Then my MM had a cool one where the henchman would start picketing and say "better conditions for henchmen NOW!"
i over used everyone of these and nobody would team with me ever again. so i dont play with those toons anymore

I love binds almost as much as alts.. (*clears throat*)
Here's just a sample of some of the more common ones I use universally for main and alts..
When a team member falls, or I come across someone down in the street :
"Oh No ! $target is down !" with [grief] emote attached
When completing a teleport :
"Whee.. Gotta love TP !"
When someone joins the team :
"Greetings $target, Welcome Aboard"
Or, when someone is leaving :
"Good Luck Out There $target, C Ya 'Round" with [thumbs up] emote attached
Another one I set to broadcast, when someone comes along and is helpful in some way :
"Thank you for your help $target"
( if I can target them before they disappear )
For that particularly difficult Boss or Av :
"You will go down $target ! So says $name !"
( and hopefully I've not targetted an ally, otherwise it's kinda awkward.. and, yes, I have done it.. )
A couple more toon specific ones include :
"You're goin down $target !"
For Tanker with [hurl] :
"Hey $target.. Kiss my asphalt !"
For Tanker with [footstomp]
"Don't make me put my foot down !"
For [stealth]
"Now you see me.. now you don't"
For [rescusitate] :
"Stand by $target, prepare for rescusitation"
Anyway, there's a sampling. Hope you like 'em.

my personal favorite is the bind that attaches my character and lvl to my global chats, so that I don't have to type that it if I'm looking for a team... and that bind goes a little something like this
/bind g beginchat /send "global channel here" {$name, $level]
sometimes I'll add an H or V (hero or villian) or the server if I'm not on my main server.
One that I had bound on my ill troller was
"careful I'm a flasher"
playing the Russia's I have "Hello (in russian of course) $target" makes a nice warning for big baddies. :) I also have thanks, congrats, and no problem in russian bound so I don't have to type it all the time.
I'm not a Super Hero, but I play one on PC!
I didn't even cheat to get the result... first try!

I love seeing everyones binds and I love to use them but I always forget how to do them (no i am not a blonde =)...well not now anyways) We do not have a guide on how to do or use binds......So if you want so easy credit Make the guide!!!! only one will be approved so before submitting please pm me so that i can let you know if someone bet you to it!!!! If you have any other useful info for a guide please submit it also.....

OK I have two:
First one I got from Warhammer 40K quotes (if ya'll know what that means...2nd addiction after CoH) it goes:
I shall know no fear for I am fear incarnate...
And:
We meet again $target! (especially used aganist an AV)
And the 2nd one was actually used once very nicely. I started this TF with someone I'd rather not talk about (keiji) and the AV was Vandal. At the end everyone quit except me. I solo'd vandal up to 50% of his health but then he raped me.
Second time I did the TF the quote was just waiting to be out:
We meet again Vandal *followed by slash throat emote*

Here's a few more I use. Some are specific to one toon, others are on many.

Substitute a thought balloon appropriate for your toon. "I wonder how the Giants did last night..." "I wonder what's on sale at Mighty Mart..." "I hope I can find an Infront cupon in here..." or whatever would get your toon to open the paper.
"s $target! On your knees! $$ e bowdown"
"s =^-^=" (For LoC members. It's a cat smiley.)
"l Rock On! $$ powexec_name stone armor" (Rocker Kitty)
"say Hail Mary, full of grace. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is thy son, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, which is likely this hour. Amen." (Friar Chuck. I though of that the first time he was sidekicked to a 40 (at level 6, I think) and did a CoT mission packed with purple demons.)

Once I figured out how to do chat binds a long time ago. I went a little crazy myself. I have a lot that refer to a cartoon series / video game.
"Ya see $target, My mind is a swirling miasma of scintilating thoughts and turgid ideas." - Combined with the lecture emote.
"Fun" "And Educational" - Both binded to flex emotes. Those who have teamed with me will see this on occasion. "Fun and educational" has become a tag line I say.... a lot. Ask Phase...or Rainah...or Mags...or Matjan... yeah.
"$target, That frightens and confuses me!" - Binded with the grief emote.
I had one about gophers, but I won't post that one here. I loved it though because of the reactions I'd get. If you've ever seen a flash animation called "More Than Meets The Eye" you'll know what I'm talking about.
"I like to move it, movie" - Binded to dance. A hero has to boogey down sometime.
I've got a ton of others... but I'm at work and I can't remember them all. I may edit and add a few more in later.

how do you put the little bubble over your head when you're typing, like the one that says "Don't talk when I am talking" or something like that.
