that would be cool! i guess the items should be customized to the guild or else you'll have people joining a guild and ganking stuff and leaving the guild ;-P
but...seriously we are adding two new characters to share that little storage space. they should really just make it so your other characters inventory is available to you through storage...because honestly, all it's really doing is causing people to log in and out and in and out and in and out just to get items...yes, it effects what items you will pick up, but only slightly, as you could still do the switch names thing...it would just be easier.
There will be improvements to storage, but when it will be implimented, is unknown. They are still working on what to do. Gaile has been hinting at using Bags to inhance storage space. ^^ Which if that does happen, you will have around 200 spaces in Storage. ^^
As for an increase in the bank, its not really needed is it?
Well I know that linked Prophecies and Factions accounts will definetly be getting extra storage, im unsure of what the plans are for normal accounts just yet.
Then stock up on crafting items. ^^ prices will rise in Factions. ^^ Good way to make money then.

as for the Storage space; i heard that Anet would find a way of improving the storage space without adding more slots.
