Anyone know of a "sweet" spot for a gold fellblade? when my 55 monk was lvl 12-16 i got a couple of em inside the troll cave.Now they hardly ever show up.So if anyone knows of a great/awesome location please share =)

Well i dont think there is a sweet spot but i have found them in southern shiverpeaks chests. I have found a few in chests in THK.

I heard a rumor that the more you farm the same spot, the worse the drops get over time. It was just a rumor but that might explain your decrease in Fellblade drops. Something like that happened to me on my Elementalist, I farm outside of Elona Reach on Sand Drakes. I would get Gold/Purple drops all the time, now I don't get any because I have farmed it for months. =(
p.s. To answer your question, Fellblades drop a lot in UW.

hmm..thats a tough one.A place life FOW but also like a troll cave...is it Tombs of Primeval Kings? or UW?

If you farm too much of a place.. you will most probably trigger the " anti-farm code ".
You can 'untrigger?' this by doing a pve mission ( Or maybe even more than 1, it's all i've heard ).. then you're good to go.
Atm I only farm trolls on my monk for xp o.o
I rarely get gold drops and stuff like that from them, but hey.. at least i'm getting xp. ^^

Yes, this is true. It was added in a update some time back. If you farm in the same spot over and over again, your chances og getting golds and rare items decrease. Thats why you get the bad drops after.
Try farming other places out to highten your chance of getting a good drop.

I get tons of drops Troll farming. Sadly the great majority of them are high req non-max damage whites.
Can I get a PC?

i got a max damage felblade req8 15% stance and a max damage chaos req8 13^50. so its not crap. its just depends on ur luck

I have got a gold fellblade 15^50% from a chest in perdition rock ( ember light camp) and sell that for 100k+8 ecto .
And now I just got crap , so I was lucky.:(

There is no particular good spot for Fells, I've found them in quite a few areas...
I've found more from Trolls outside Drok's than anywhere else, and the Avicara around that area have them equipped, but I'm yet to get a good Gold one from them.
The best one I got dropped from a Smite in the UW.

Looks mainly - why is anything so popular when there is no functional difference between the types of swords.
It's the same reason that people accord higher status for those with 15k armors or Obsidian Armor (FoW).
The Fellblade has an animated skin, is a big long blade, and it looks like is has shadows running across it.
What makes a lot of these items valuable is that, comparitively, they are rarer drops. A Gladius or longsword that has an intrinsic 15 over 50 mod will act the same as a fellblade with a similar mod, but they are much more likely to drop than the fellblade. So people are also paying for the rarity.
Basic Supply and Demand - Used to be that everyone wanted a Fiery Dragon sword, then it was the fellblades and chaos axes, then the Icy dragon swords, now it's swinging back to Fellblades, Chaos Axes, and Shadow blades again.
