I'll probably try both, but evil is more my groove. Statring with a nuetral race characters gives me the oportunity to do both before I choose a sub class.

I'll likely side with good, as always. I love roleplaying but don't do evil very well, it's just not in my nature :)

My first character will definately be from freeport. The true reason is that I am playing a Dark elf necromancer. so there is little choice in this.

I'm in a Evil aligned guild called "The Fallen Legacy"
I'm not an evil person at heart but my main character is going to be a Half Elven Assassin which will start out in Freeport..
My secondary character I plan on playing is a High Elven Shadowknight or a Troll SK..

I plan on having at least one toon for each alignment to get a good taste of each. As for my main, I'm still undecided. If I felt it truely impacted gameplay, my decision would be a lot easier. Alas, I haven't come across any game information yet that would influence my decision either way.
Superficially, it appears I will have to make my decesion based on whether I want to follow an immortal with a receding hairline who is hell-bent on total domination or a swimsuit model with pouty lips and an aptitude for posing "sexfully" for the camera. Hmmmm... Which side will you choose, indeed!

Since most of the players are evil ( What is the primary motivation of most players? Leveling i.e. gaining more power - last I heard power hungrey megalomaniacs are called evil so... unless your rolplaying, your evil ;D ) I'm going to play a goody, goody character, a big mouthed Ratonga with a big family (100+ , lost count somwhere around the 10th baby) he needs to support with treasure hunting! :)

I'm going to be evil for 2 reasons. First, bad guys have more fun. Second, a review I read said the goody city got to be a little annoying. I jst hope I can roleplay an evil Char well enough.

for guilds you can look at the main EQ2 site which has a big forum topic for them. I will be Qeynos at first, but then evil... I think Lucan looks hot ... well for a 1000 year old lich.
