Hello guys. I've just been browsing the gameamp websites and stumbled onto this place. I admit I was never much interested in Everquest 1, that had more to do with lack of a good group of people to play with than anything against the game itself.
I'll be reading up as much as I can and hoping some kind soul will send me an extra beta invite.. *hint hint..nudge nudge*.
I've gamed my entire short life. Between working a 40 hour job, going to school full time, and spending time with my beautiful gamer fiance, I still manage to find plenty of time to game. Somehow.
I'm in between MMO's but I have a long history including Ultima Online (3+ years) Asheron's Call (2 years) Star Wars Galaxies ( I still have an active account though I don't know why, hard to give up a Master Bounty Hunter.) City of Heroes (awesome game, I just burned out rather quickly.) And before that I was an avid MUD gamer.
Anyway, just my friendly hello community post. You can probably find me here, or in the eventual halflife2 section.

Hey Kiersiege, glad to have ya around. I am not sure how one can manage that full of a lifestyle, and still be sane.
Looks like you have managed fine though. Any secrets, good food, eat right, spiritually in-tune with the cosmos. :)
That much work and school would drive me to drink, oh wait, a light bulb could drive me to drink. :)
Either way, glad to have you with us.

My secret is being completely insane. Oh, and I work tech support so I have a lot of free time to do school work while on the job. It's a nice combination for a college student actually.
