ok i was finishing up a FA run and goin back to warcamp to empty my loot when it wouldnt load. it said Error 5 and possible server failure my internet has been sketchy lately and i was wondering if ne1 else was having this problem or its just me??[/SIZE]

Yeah I get it too in Elona on my Monk, I can load my Ranger at LA fine though...

its been bad lately ..i was logged off for 3 hours the other day from error 005's...its somethin on anet's end...my connection is tip top

Its really starting to bug me. The lag is terrible today, that really annoying "pause effect" lag where everything just stops. I have lost connection 3 times today, and my connection at home is really good.
I am ready to give up on GW all together today and go watch some TV.

Yeah, that pause/lag thing happens to me too; maybe its becuase Anet is getting the servers ready for Factions?

What server are you guys on, I was playing just now and did not have any problems. I'm on the american server.

America doesn't have one server, neither do the other areas...
One US sever may have Elona, Thirsty and Dunes running while another may have Ascalon areas.
I'm only having the problem in certain areas, but it's the only area I want to get to at the moment... My other chars in other locations are perfectly fine.

Yea i was off for a half hour and the problem is still there ive been booted like 5 times today so definatly Anet's fault prolly prepping 4 factions.

Yeah, its really annoying.. After forming a team in Heroes in 30 minutes and after we killed the ghosts half the team go err5...

Actually, it is because of Factions. The head start is nothing other than a download of the game where you can play 1 day BEFORE you enter your access code from the inside of your box. Like Prophecies, which is downloadable by anyone because guild wars is hosted online for download, the game is not playable w/o the access key.
Basically, they are putting info on the servers for factions because you can download factions before you enter your access code

yea it may B sumthig different but prolly updating servers for factions.
ok yea ive given up none of my chars in warcamp r loading so just as a little tip
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE WARCAMP
just saying it b/c im rlly mad and i dont want other ppl to be in my situation esp if it can B avoided.
ne1 else know of ne problems w/ areas???
