Any of the Masterminds are fun once you learn how to control your minions properly. This isn't a set for everyone though, as it is tough to manage them well and cooperate on a team.

Stalkers are fun for their ability to Hide and Assassin Strike. I like Claws/Regen & Martial Arts/Ninjitsu personally.

Brutes are fun for the ability to just plain smash things. And with the Fury meter (you do more damage the more you fight), it can be just non-stop action and fighting.

Corrupters have some of the coolest powers in the game. My absolute favorite power in the game is "Power of the Phoenix" in the Thermal Radiation secondary set. It revives a fallen teammate and has the coolest graphic of a phoenix being reborn above the revived person. I love seeing it used.

Dominators are fun because of all their holds. Personally, they're my least favorite type, but they're still a very great addition to any team and they can be very powerful, especially in later levels.

You need to narrow it down a little, do you want to be able to solo a lot? What is your play style? slow and careful or full ahead and damn the torpedoes?

If you like to solo my friend the Mastermind is for you! It's loads of fun to boss minions around, I prefer the zombies & dark powers to really help them, takes a bit of getting used to, but when your pets start pileing up , it's a blast. My image gallery has pics of my zombies, gravenight, & Lich. What ever you choose , don't give up to soon. check it out for awhile & ask around aswell as check out bios of other baddies.

Super Strength/Invulnerable BRUTE!! Smash Smash Smash and watch them fall. Easy to team and solo with this build. Very low learning curve for this toon. My favorite as I have nine variations running on 3 servers. I just love the fury bar.

If you want a good Stalker build check out this Claw/Ninjitsu build. Very easy and a good DPS.

Brute wise, I just made a EM/Invul and it plays very nice. It probably does more damage than the SS set, because Energy is something that is not resisted (more damage) and EM has a disorient with all the attacks.

MMs...any Primary with the DM secondary is very simple to play. Heal, stealth, debuff targets...nuff said.

Any one of these options would be a good starter toon for you.
