When the update first appeared watchers were showing up everywhere, steel canyone, skyway, etc etc. Now where are they?

Yeah, but it's probably just because you haven't washed that skanky cape since you got it though, right Antigrav? LOL just messing with you man.
No ideas here, perhaps it was just a preview of a new dimension that will be accessable through the Portal Corp. Missions? Or maybe they are merely reviewing their last attempt to invade and are planning something a little more organized?

they were a scouting party for the "real" invasions... the devs haven't had the invasion yet b/c of all the bugs that needed to be worked out of issue #2. it is said there is no longer going to be one, but others think it is just going to be post poned a bit

I have heard through the rumor mill that this was just pre-scouting for the real invasion which will take place in Episode #3: Council of War. I don't know how true this is, but it would make sense.
